I stayed at the Harvest Inn after seeing my disastrous room at a B & B done the road. From my first phone call inquiring about rooms, Lindsay was helpful, personable and professional. I endured one night at the disaster then moved to the wonderful Harvest Inn. The room was LOVELY with incredible linens and bedding. The bathroom was almost as big as the room with thirsty white bath sheets and all the amenities. Service was excellent from Lindsay to the front desk to the valets. Lindsay even came down to meet me in person when I checked in. I would go back to the Harvest Inn in a heartbeat.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Harvest Inn which we selected largely because the property was centrally located to the wineries we intended to visit. The property was gorgeous, the room very nice, and having access to the Harvest Table restaurant for breakfast and dinner was exceptionally handy. Contrary to a few reviews by others, we had no problems with the service. We enjoyed walking the property, which is kind of hidden from site from the road. We found it very quiet and personal. Our first night we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the heated patio at the Harvest Table restaurant on the property. I had the Shrimp and Grits as well as the Scallops. both of which were delicious! And every morning we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of eggs and bacon, pastries, toast and spreads, and more including coffee and juices. It was convenient and delicious. The property offers amenities which we did not use: pools, spa, etc. The one "negative" thing was that, while we were there, the free WIFI is not password protected.

This place was ok at one time, not anymore. The grounds have trash that nobody picks up, I watched three employees ignore a plastic water bottle, a wine glass, and a bed spring in the planters outside my room. The plants around the pool area have been trampled and look like they haven't been watered. The rooms aren't really clean and some have an awful smoke smell from the wood burning fireplace. The furniture is very dated. The beds are the worst I've experienced in any hotel since I slept in a French hostel forty years ago. If you're sharing a room good luck getting a room with two beds, the property only has two rooms with two beds, we were assured we'd have one for my son and daughter to share, it didn't happen, after fighting with the incompetent and rude staff we were given two rooms because we didn't accept the "rolling cot" solution. Considering the price this place is a no go.

We had high expectations for our stay at this property given existing reviews. Unfortunately, it did not meet those expectations. While the grounds are peaceful and the landscape pleasant enough the room was certainly nothing special. When we first opened the door to the room our first sight was of a dresser drawer lying upside down on the floor looking like the place had been ransacked. I called room service and they did send someone fairly quickly (but he was unable to get the drawer fixed). To me this is symptomatic of the facility - - slightly frayed at the edges and not a first class hotel. We ate dinner here and found the food adequate but nothing special. The decor of the dining room is atrocious and could use a major refit. We mentioned this to staff and they did say the matter was under review. Finally, we were double billed for a charge and when I noted that on our return and called the hotel I was told it would be adjusted. That did not happen so I had to do a claim with the charge card.
