Harvest Inn

Just returned to the Harvest Inn and unfortunately the experience was not like the past. The good - location is terrific and the grounds are beautiful with pools, fire pits, bocce, and quiet seating areas. The front desk staff are reasonably competent and helpful. The bad - housekeeping was awful, not coming even though makeup room sign was hanging all day, not replacing things such as coffee pods, and knocking on the door with earbuds in so could not hear response. The room lacks furniture such as a bureau even though there is space for it. The closet is small and there was no safe in our room. The unacceptable - the walls are thin such that you hear everything going on in rooms next and above you. Also when the inn/hotel is busy there is not enough parking - to come back and not have a space to park is absurd. We spent 4 days with friends at the Harvest Inn. The staff was always friendly and helpful. From the assistance at the terrific (included) breakfast in the morning to bringing firewood late in the evening, they always were on top of their game. Mr. Palmer was on site and greeted us twice. He could not have been more pleasant and gracious. The property is right off the main road but well set up such that you feel miles away. There are many places to sit quietly or stroll. It is centrally located to explore the napa area or walk into St. Helena. The rooms are large and well thought out. I would advise upgrading to the vineyard view which really is beautiful as the sun rises and sets. The only negative was the concierge. She was pleasant but unhelpful and overwhelmed by even the simplest of requests. This has become our new hotel/inn when we make our bi-annual trip to Napa.

I hosted my partner's 50th birthday and the experience was excellent. The staff was super accommodating planning and executing a large private party. The food and wine were delicious. The room was huge and comfortable. The views were beautiful and the large patio was excellent for entertaining. Everyone had a fabulous weekend.

Beautiful property! Very boutique style with all the amenities of a large resort. Excellent service and food. I highly recommend and we will be going back!

We stayed at the Harvest Inn for our anniversary, and it was a wonderful and memorable few days we will long remember. Everyone on the staff was friendly and welcoming. The grounds are well-maintained and give a peaceful vibe. The food was incredible. The people strive to provide a personal experience. The concierge, Maria, helped us plan our itinerary...and it was perfect. Thank you to everyone at the Harvest Inn. We can't wait to visit you again!
