I have travelled extensively around the world experiencing many lovely hotels on my way, Meadowood stands head and shoulders above anything I experienced. From the beautiful grounds to the understand luxury of the cottages to the friendly outgoing staff, this has to be on your list of a must visit. I spent 2 nights here and loved every minute of it, the attention to detail is second to none from the the matches by your bath to light the candles to the log fire ready to be lit. It was simply heavenly, I didn't want to leave and nor will you

Such a beautiful and gracious resort, nestled amongst the trees, the setting is superb. You really need to spend a few days here - on the first day, you are tempted to just stay in the room and soak up the environment.. I had a room towards the peak and it felt so quiet and secluded with a wonderful view - only negative here was the number of steps from the road to the front door - 55 but who's counting. It certainly guranteed you wouldn't make repeat trips out of the property. The only negative was the house keeping, i thought I had 5 guests staying for the day. They were so fussy, they were rearranging everything in the room and I finished up not knowinh where I had put things - they also put little tapes around all my iphone, ipad and computer cords thinking that would help - it didn't. But eventually I had to ask them not to fuss, I'd had a long flight and just needed some solitude but apart from that, a wonderful stay.

A consistent area retreat with the guest always in focus. The spa is in a class all its own. the Restaurant stand up to all the hype. The quiet valley location is perfect for a romantic getaway. Looking forward to the completion of their renovation initiative.

Not only are are grounds of Meadowood out of this world beautiful, but the level of service that every person on site offers is truly amazing. From the moment you drive onto the property, to the sad moment when you leave, you are treated as family. The staff are eager to help you in any way and get to know you as well. You will most certainly end your stay at Meadowood feeling more relaxed then when you arrived and ready to plan your next stay there!

Quality service, maintenance, design, decor. From the security gate, follow a wooded road into a secluded foothill of the Napa Valley. Enter into extraordinarly maintained natural and native landscape with tennis courts, spa, work-out gym, and cottages nestled into the hillsides. Room decor and cleanliness excellent. Spa is comprehensive, spacious, secluded, magical. Informal breakfast and lunch at The Grill overlooking lovely 9-hole golf course. Superb, and superbly expensive, gourmet 7 - 9 course meal with wine parings, friendly but non-intrusive staff, tour of the kitchen if you ask.
