I can't wait to come back to this property to stay and taste and relax here. What an enchanting little resort that really feels unique and special in such a beautiful place. With so many options of activities and leisure, it really is a all inclusive experience for Napa.

This was our second stay at Meadowood. It is a beautiful, luxurious, extremely well-maintained property. Service is equal to, or better than, any of the best hotels I've stayed with in the US and/or Europe. This was truly an enjoyable and relaxing stay while in Napa Valley.

We stayed at Meadowood on our first visit to Napa Valley. It was a magical place! The grounds were so beautiful, and the cottages were gorgeous! The staff treated us like royalty. The food, fabulous. Our croquet lesson and games were so much fun! And most important, the entire experience was warm and inviting. The only disappointing aspect of our stay is that we didn't have enough time to enjoy this special resort as we were busy enjoying beautiful Napa. Next time we will build that into our schedule. Meadowood is a place to savor and enjoy!

My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Meadowood, but there were some downsides... Meadowood is a beautiful hotel with expansive, well kept grounds. It is currently undergoing a major renovation, so the gym and pool are out of commission. There's a temporary gym facility set up in an air conditioned tent in the interim. While you can't hear the noise of the renovations from the rooms, room prices are still steep despite having no pool and a makeshift gym. The Restaurant is amazing, and The Grill is also excellent. Both are worth visiting, even if you don't stay at the hotel. The tasting menu at the Restaurant was outstanding... Clearly deserving of its Michelin 3 stars. The waitstaff was also exceptionally warm and inviting, as was the chef, who invited us to visit the kitchen after our meal. The new spa is beautiful, but it wasn't functioning as expected... Repetitive clicking noises came from the outdoor heaters- even when they weren't on, and the staff couldn't figure out how to make it stop. So, time outside of treatments wasn't relaxing. Also, the women's sauna wasn't working properly, and the aromatherapy pump in the women's steam room was broken... All problems you don't expect from a 5 star spa. The standard rooms are very nice, but they're not as well appointed as comparable properties like Calistoga Ranch, Bardessono, etc. which offer larger suites, steam showers and/or hot tubs, free drinks/snacks, etc. Also, the bed was a little lumpy/not super comfortable. Overall, we had a nice time, but my mind wasn't blown, like I'd expected, given the hype around the hotel and the price point. We've stayed in some beautiful hotels that offered a better experience and left us wanting to go back to spend more money. I was also disappointed when the day after we checked out, the hotel sent a nice thank you note to my email ( but addressed it to my husband,
