The house Barbados was amazing. It was small, quaint and unique. The staff were amazing they make the Hotel, a great thanks to Wade the bar man and a great thanks to Agnes and all the staff.. The Hotel couldn’t do enough for us .we give this Hotel 5 out of five. The rooms where amazing and clean Just one moan the works next door we were told would be finished by the time we got there

Incredible hotel, the staff truly made the experience amazing. The rooms are lovely, spotless, and comfortable, and the food and drinks are non-stop and great quality. But what really makes this place exceptional is the staff. A huge thank you to Drew, who was not only friendly, funny, and incredibly accommodating, but an absolute credit to the hotel. He genuinely made our stay even more special.

Our recent stay at The House, Barbados was made truly exceptional by the incredible team. The quality of service, genuine care and personal engagement throughout our stay transformed what would have been a wonderful holiday into something genuinely memorable. A special thank you to Wade, Patricia, Agnes, Kwasi, Andrew, Sophia, Shontelle, Devere, Alesha and Patrick — each of you brought warmth, professionalism and personality that made us feel welcomed, valued and completely able to relax from the moment we arrived. It is rare to experience hospitality that feels so effortless yet so personal. The world is a big place and we almost never return to the same hotel twice, but The House has become the exception. Good hotel but probably a little too small. Not much of a beach. Food was very good on most days apart from a very underwhelming buffet one night, which felt like they were short of food. Refurbished rooms are comfortable with amazing sunset views from the upper floors. No slippers which is odd for a hotel of this level, especially as they provide the usual bath robes. Walk in showers had no shelves to put anything. Very odd and annoying as you had to put razors, shampoo bottles etc on the floor but since the drain didn’t drain fast enough everything floats around. Room aircan was good. Minibar has beer but no wine for women, why? Snacks never replenished after first day. Sunbeds were okay apart from the early sunbed reserving guests. But generally you could get a sunbed. Staff are great which rubs off on the quests who are a good mix of young honeymooners up to retirees.

We booked one night here following a cruise originating in Barbados through BA Holidays (who have always provided excellent service). We chose the House for its luxe boutique and intimate adults only atmosphere, with upscale dining, and being situated on a small sandy cove, thinking that it would be a lovely end to our Caribbean holiday. When we arrived to check in, we were initially sidelined by the reception staff to wait, whilst fellow passengers from our cruise were checked in. No reception staff would speak to us and we were told that the manager would come and deal with us. - a sure clue that there was a major problem. Finally, after nearly an hour’s wait, we were informed by Jason the manager that they could not fulfil our booking. This reservation had been booked and confirmed over 6 months before and we had received a recent update to our booking about the ongoing building work at the property. BA Holidays as our travel provider had not been informed of the situation either and were taken aback when we immediately made contact with them, and helped to resolve the issue with the most appropriate outcome for us which would involve a move to another, less exclusive property. Obviously this is totally unacceptable service on the part of The House management. We were moved to another hotel just down the road and given an upgraded room with late check out and a limo to the airport, but this did not alleviate our disappointment and the hassle involved at the end of an otherwise marvellous holiday. We have still not been given a reason as to why this occurred although BA Holidays 24/7 Duty Office were brilliant at sorting out the mess and finding an acceptable resolution on the day. Take note: customer service and communication is all important however good your product is.
