About the Hotel

Owned by native Antiguans, the 30 cottages at Cocos Hotel roost on a cliff and overlook iridescently clear waters, where deep blues and minty greens shimmer in streaks on the horizon. The best way to enjoy the view is swinging in a hammock suspended from the roof of each cottage’s rustic terrace, or drifting to sleep on the netting-enveloped princess bed. Chef Pam Clay's West Indian take on Tuscan cuisine attracts a local following.

Reviews for Cocos Hotel

Paradise on the beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 18 hours ago

This was our second trip to COCOS and we really enjoyed our holiday. It has the feel of a family cottage but with lots of luxury and a pristine beach. The grounds are immaculate, and the team are constantly raking and trimming to keep things fresh. I love that there’s never a need for a reservation at the restaurant, and you are never rushed. Best part, unlike the the family cottage, I never have to cook or go to the grocery store! We loved our cabin which was right near the pool, and the Jolly beach. It had the advantage of not being too up or downhill, the drawback was the traffic noise (people, staff and golf carts) on the road early in the morning, and the noise sometimes from the neighbouring venue. But that was minor. We had stayed way up the hill last year and while it was beautiful, the hills are quite steep , and can be very slippery after a rain shower. I recommend sensible shoes if you choose those cabins. The beaches are really lovely and the resort location at the end of both means that there is minimal traffic from the other resorts or beach operations, immediately in front of Cocos areas. My husband loves open water swimming, and other than the jet skis and the occasional party catamaran there’s minimal water traffic My only complaint, is that there aren’t enough beach chairs on the Jolly beach side. People were running down to put towels on chairs at 6:30 in the morning, and not showing up to use the chairs until after 10. Thank you to all of the staff who work so hard to make every aspect of our holiday special.

A lovely getaway

Overall, Cocos Hotel happily met my expectations. As an AI experience, the quality of food, drink, and service was exceptional, and I would gladly return to Cocos before visiting a typical AI (e.g., large, crowded, loud, subpar food & drink) in another country. I loved the resort's smaller, more intimate feel, and the beaches, water, and ocean views were outstanding. The staff was mostly kind and attentive, although some requests took longer to fill than others. Special thanks to Kris and George for their efforts to make up for an unfortunate experience, but such an experience wouldn't preclude me from visiting Cocos again. We had a beautiful sunset pool cottage. Each evening's highlight was watching a gorgeous sunset. I only wish the plunge pool was heated. Overall, I'd highly recommend a visit to Cocos Hotel.

We chose this resort to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It was the most amazing experience. We both enjoyed every moment. Staff was friendly. Room was absolutely beautiful. Great views and so many memories to cherish.

Fabulous!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cocos Hotel, it was very hilly so you must be reasonably fit but that's all explained on the website and we enjoyed walking around the resort. All staff were polite and attentive. The beaches were stunning and the small area used by Cocos was quiet and ordered. The food was excellent and the cocktails were very good. The mini bar was excellent too and restocked every day with whatever you wanted.I loved the peace and quiet of our cottage with no direct neighbours. It is a get away from it all hotel with the majority of people being newly weds or mature couples, definitely not a hotel for a family or a group. We would definitely go back again.
