Cocos Hotel

We loved our trip to COCOS. The beaches were wonderful and we loved the meals and service. We picked a room with private pool but it was very cold. Overall a very romantic getaway and would visit again.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff and management were kind, professional, and attentive. I would definitely recommend it and intend to visit again.

Our experience at Coco’s was once again fantastic! We can’t say enough about how the entire staff makes us feel at home and are a delight to be around. The management team goes above and beyond to accommodate, we appreciate them all very much. The food is top notch and there is a great variety of entertainment every night. We would also like to acknowledge the cleaning staff as they work very hard and take good care of us, we enjoy chatting with them everyday! One thing that we would like to address is as to whether there could be a designated smoking area outside of the lounge/reception desk. The majority of guests are non smokers and this makes sitting in the lounge for everyone very unenjoyable. This has been discussed openly between guests every time we have stayed at Coco’s, and surely the idea is to keep people around in the evenings to enjoy and support the bands and everyone’s company. Another great day at our home away from home!

If you are looking for an authentic Caribbean retreat for a relaxing and charming break, then this place is for you. It is not a refined chain hotel with marble floors and “glitz”. It is very chilled out with a relaxed vibe and no pretence. Of all the places we have stayed, its website and the way it is advertised reflects exactly what it is. Comfortable cottages wth amazing views, food good, great staff, and the most relaxing vibe due to the all adult couple’s requirement. There are a few areas that could be refined a bit more, perhaps around the pool and ensuring the beach loungers were tidied up each day, which in the latter stages of our stay was actually addressed. But all in all we enjoyed the holiday and the hotel.

Absolutely perfect. We booked a beachfront pool cottage and stayed in #48. It was superb! Direct, private access to Valley Church beach. We spent most of our days on our deck and in our giant pool. The views from our deck were simply stunning, and being right on the beach was awesome. The outdoor showers were incredible! I could shower while looking out at the beautiful blue water. Finding chairs on the beach - not a problem, no matter the time of day. It was also nice to see security on the beach. Kris the manager was so charming and welcoming. He checked in with us a few times throughout our stay, and that was a really cool touch. All staff were so friendly and genuine. Everyone said hello and greeted us with smiles. Entry into the ocean on Valley Church beach is easy. There is a gradual slope and then a step down, but no sharp dropoff. Easy entry and exit. Easy swimming with a beautiful resort view. Food was amazing with breakfast being my highlight each day. The smoothie and juice of the day were refreshing and delicious! When you see that little basket of pastries in the morning, don't skip it! Plenty of choices at each meal, but not too many choices. I appreciated the smaller menu as it kept ordering easy. BBQ night was cool and the special Christmas dinner was great. Hills around the resort are no joke and are a decent little workout if you don't take the long way around the back side of the resort. It was fun exploring all the nooks and crannies along the walkways. Gorgeous flowers, shrubs, and very pretty landscaping adorn every path. Bug spray is provided, and I highly recommend using it if you are prone to mosquito bites. I ended up with several bites, but I expected it and brought extra spray and some steroid cream that my doctor prescribed beforehand since mosquito bites tend to welt up on me. It's a warm climate, so obviously there are going to be skeeters. No biggie - goes with the territory. The super casual atmosphere and relaxed dress code are very refreshing. We are blue collar workers who love to take awesome vacations, and dressing up just isn't our thing. I love that we can wear tshirts to dinner and be treated with the same respect as someone in elegant clothing. That means a lot to me, and it speaks to how incredibly warm and kind every staff member is, no judgement, just good vibes all around. I love the vibe here and we will absolutely return, and our return trip is already booked. We have found what we've been searching for and this is our "forever resort". From the kind staff, excellent meals, gorgeous views, relaxed dress code, chill vibes, and cats, I cannot think of a better resort. We truly felt welcomed and every staff member did their best to ensure our experience was top notch. Thank you all for making for a truly wonderful vacation.
