About the Hotel

Perched on a lush hillside overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea in St. Mary, Antigua, COCOS Hotel is an adults-only, all-inclusive boutique resort designed for couples seeking romance, privacy, and authentic Caribbean charm. The intimate property features handcrafted wooden cottages inspired by traditional Caribbean architecture, each offering breathtaking resort, pool, or ocean views, spacious verandas with hammocks or Adirondack chairs, and many featuring private plunge pools or outdoor clawfoot bathtubs. Built into the natural landscape using locally sourced materials, the cottages have an open-air feel that embraces the island's cooling sea breezes while creating a peaceful, secluded retreat. With just a limited number of accommodations, personalized service, and two secluded white-sand beaches, COCOS delivers an intimate luxury experience far removed from larger resort crowds.

Reviews for Cocos Hotel

Its all about location

We had a wonderful time and we didn't let any of the below ruin our trip but it definitely left us on the fence about our overall opinion on the property. For starters, as much as you pay for the accommodation, some of the furnishings in the room feel more budget stay then the high end stay you paid for. Curtain rods that aren't a complete set (one end has the decorative knob the other end has nothing, so basically took 1 rod and made it 2). Our room was not level, our suitcase would roll from one end of the room to the other end, we joked it felt like staying in a fun house. The lampshade was dirty and water stained, again it screamed a cheap budget room not almost $500 a night budget. The toilet also needed to be cleaned better, the portion below the bowl had a gross amount of urine drips going down it that had clearly been there awhile. Many of the staff were delightful but there were a few who didn't seem happy or friendly. There was alot of random trash in the greenery, such a beautiful property but then you see all the trash hiding. Maybe its cause I went in off season but makes you wonder how long its been there. Food overall no complaints some dishes were great and some just ok. They are on top of water service!! The best part is the beaches. We favored the Valley Church Beach side, mostly because of the grill and the Jolly side would get some of the smells from the ponds tho a bit further down towards Jolly Beach Resort and the beach is amazing so its really unfortunate the COCOS portion isn't the greatest but your steps away from amazing so not a big deal really. Overall I think with some minor updates to rooms and public areas and a keep the grounds clean initiative would go a long way. I don't know what they can do for the fun house room, it has an amazing view and location however. The restaurant and lobby area needs a new roof or something.. it has leaking issues when it rains. We also found the gift shop under whelming it had plenty of things you may need while on vacation like sunscreen or OTC meds but not a big selection for gifts and nothing with COCOS (if management reads this I can help you with that-feel free to reach out).

Best honeymoon ever

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We went to Cocos for our honeymoon and we loved it. We were literally planning a return trip to Antigua like the second day we were there. The staff were so welcoming and truly incredible. The scenery and grounds were kept up with so well. We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon location. Shout out to Mr. Whiskers for being a highlight of our trip and my husband’s new BFF Super Mario the bartender. Could not recommend more!

Caribbean charm with intimate feel

This was our first visit to COCOS Hotel and the experience was delightful. The intimate feel, Caribbean charm of the cottages, the attention to detail regarding the food presentation and service comes together to create an exceptional experience. Highly Recommend!

Cocos Hotel is an amazing all inclusive for adults who are looking for relaxation, amazing beaches, delicious food, great staff and the best views from the plunge pool rooms!! My husband and I spent our 10 year anniversary at the resort and loved the quaintness of this resort. We definitely will be returning again!

Wonderful relaxing week at Cocos. Loved the uniqueness of the cottages nestled in the hillside. Two perfect beaches to choose from or a well shaded pool. Location, food, drinks and staff all wonderful. One thing… don’t take high heels !!
