Beautiful viewWe arrived on a rainy night and there were NO umbrellas for us to use on our long walk up a very steep hill to our cabin. Â The A/C was not working properly, and someone came to fix it, but for some unknown reason, at 2:00 a.m., we lost all electric power in the room, and were told that someone would look at it in the morning...a dangerous situation for us being in a pitch black room! Â By 9:00 a.m., power was restored. Â Ours was the only cabin that lost power, and when mentioned to the front desk, the reply was "oh, yes, heard about that. Â Sorry." Â
The food was good, but nothing to rave about. Â The service people in the dining room were all very nice and helpful. Â The portions of the dinners were very small. Â We have never been served a steak which was about 1/4 inch thick! Â The fish was always overcooked. Â
Our room did have a beautiful view, and the bed was very comfortable, but that's the best I can say about it. Â There was paint peeling in the bathroom and the vanity needed to be refinished. Â The housekeeper had to constantly be asked to bring face cloths, which she rarely did! Â
The beach was beautiful. Â Gorgeous views. Â White soft sand and crystal clear aqua water. Â The chaise lounges were old and needed either to be refinished or replaced. Â Nice bar with good service.
The free massage which came with the package was very relaxing.
All in all, although we enjoyed our stay in Antigua, I would not recommend this hotel, as I thought it to be far below Luxury Link standards.

Truly Authentic! What a truly relaxing carribbean experience. The view was exceptional, the staff was SO friendly and attentive, and the food was fresh and delicious. I recommend this to anyone on a honeymoon as it is a low key resort that is very relaxing.

Treasure found in the CaribbeanFor anyone who needs to fall off the grid in an idyllic place that provides elements of being a "castaway" and exceptional hospitality, Coco's is the perfect choice. Â My standards are high, I've traveled extensively over 30 years to different islands and many resorts. Â If what you want is an American experience in the Caribbean, this is likely not be for you. Â If you want to relaaaax on a wonderful beach at a place with an authentic Caribbean ambiance, good food, smiling service, comfortable room (and bed) with a spectacular view, outdoor shower and no t.v., I doubt you could be dissapointed.
