We visited for a stay over New Years and it was a ton of fun. The hotel is right next door to a music venue so it was lively to say the least but we found it quite entertaining. The rooms were nice but not huge. A very modern and clear feel though. Would recommend if ever attending a show at the Pageant Theater

GREAT. Lots to do and see nearby in the modern, hip and centrally located upscale hotel. With 15 bars and 20 restaurants in walking distance, you are assured to have a great time. This area gets crowded with college students and others seeking a lively time at night. By day the Loop offers dozens of shops and restaurants to visit. Located 1 block from the Walk of Fame and lots of music venues. A+ for fun and a GREAT ROOFTOP BAR. The Moonrise is a big city gem at a reasonable price. If you want a more upscale area, consider the Ritz in Clayton, but for walkable fun, try the Moonrise.

Staff was helpful and on top of things. They wanted to make our stay special. I booked online so they contacted us to find out specifics of our package that we wanted. Atmosphere was great. We don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. I was very surprised that with the Rooftop bar and being so close to everything, that we didn't hear any noise. Our experience there was just perfect.

This hotel was so awesome. From the decor to the rooftop bar all the way to the welcome drink we were given when we checked in. The room was very clean and quiet, lucky for us we had a corner room with a nice view of Delmar. I liked the sense of security the hotel provided by requiring a key to access your floor via elevator. The hotel is central to so many activities and delicious food options! Parking is out back if you can find a spot, which on a weekend is kind of hard but we managed every time we left and came back to snag a spot. Definitely would recommend this hotel to others.

My sister called the hotel and asked to prepay for my room. She was advised to book online, which she did with her credit card. When I checked in, I gave my card for incidentals only and repeated this twice. When I checked out, I reminded the front desk staff not to charge my card, as my sister had already paid. Well, they cancelled the charge on her card, charged mine, and refused to solve the issue. In addition, this is not a $350 hotel. It's a $150 hotel that's been labeled "boutique", I suppose because they put cheesy rainbow lights on the stairs and hung some "retro space age" decor here and there. If I had to describe the hotel in one word, it would be "kitsch". And I don't intend that as a complement. For $350 in Missouri, you better get something better than a hotel used as a wedding venue for people who don rented, polyester tuxes. Yes, this hotel is the accommodation equivalent to a Coach bag: pretend luxury for people with aspirations but no taste. The beds are comfortable; the rooms are spacious; and the place is clean. Otherwise there is not much to recommend this place.
