We stayed at the Moonrise Hotel for the first time during our quick weekend getaway trip to Saint Louis. The hotel is located on the Delmar Blvd Loop. There is free parking behind the property. We arrived there around 10 PM on a Friday night. The traffic on Delmar Blvd. was awful, but we still managed to find a parking spot behind the hotel. The building looks very new and the interior is attractively funky. Check-in was a breeze. Our standard king bed room was roomier than we expected. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very attractively furnished. The bed was comfortable. Our only complaint is that the pillows were lumpy and rather uncomfortable to sleep on. It was nice that the elevator area was separated from the main hallway by a quiet pair of double doors, effectively insulating the noise. I'm not sure how crowded the place was, but it did not feel crowded at all. In terms of dining...we checked out the rooftop bar area right after checking in. The view was very nice. The cocktails were also very good. We also had breakfast at Eclipse Restaurant on the first floor twice. The food and service was very good. We highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was large, the beds very comfortable, and our view was lovely. The hotel has a small restaurant and a lovely rooftop bar. The bar in the restaurant was well stocked and the bartenders made great drinks. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. It was so accessible to all the shops and restaurants were so easy to walk to.

We stayed her on our way to Branson. We chose it because my 8 year old daughter loved the "rainbow" stairs. It was a really cool hotel. They staff was amazing and catered to our every need. Kids can go up on the rooftop until 9 pm. They thought that was really cool. The restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious and a cool setting.

This is a lovely, quirky great little hotel. Located on Delmar Blvd. and adjacent to the University City Washington Univ. area. The hotel is built around a moon landing/space theme. Lovely, spacious, modern rooms and nice bathrooms w/Aveda products. Amazing rooftop bar. Great little restaurant 'The Eclipse' that serves great food and late night room service. There are also many, many restaurants, shops, music venues and bars nearby. This is my preferred place to stay when in St. Louis. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

Stayed here for the night during a short trip to St. Louis. Traveled to St. Louis via amtrak, so we didn't have a car. Easy walk from the metro link to the hotel. Large, clean room with excellent amenities. Location is outstanding! We attended a concert next door at The Pageant. There were lots of restaurants to choose from before and after the concert. Spent some time at the roof top bar at the hotel before the concert. Very comfortable space with excellent cocktails.
