Reviews for Ti Kaye Resort & Spa

Great place to relax, small group, adults only

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Booked this resort for a peaceful and restful vacation and that is exactly what we got. Room was a basic room with outdoor shower, King Bed, and patio with hammock. Room was comfortable and the AC worked great. Beware outlets in room are very limited to non existing. Spouse had to blow hair dry by bed outlet. No mirror. No power in bathroom. Outdoor shower was nice but very basic. Food was good, some meals were great some were OK. Portions are large. Pizza every said great but just so. So. Staff is amazing very helpful and try to meet all your needs. Sometimes slow but your on vacation, island time. All inclusive pkg is great and worth taking. Spa is very nice and offers great services. If your looking for a nice relaxing resort only 33 rooms, this is the place to be. They must be doing something right, many repeat clients, year after year. Pool was very quiet during our stay just us and 1 or 2 couples. Mostly beach folks. Nice beach. Boats do come in to swim and snorkel.

Can’t say enough good things about this resort!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Highly recommend. My wife and I spent a week here for our baby moon and it could not have been a more perfect place to stay. This resort checked every box and then some. The rooms and view from the cottages are fantastic, the beach is very clean and pretty. We got the all inclusive package and the food and drinks were delicious! We booked a couples massage and the spa rooms look amazing and the massages were very relaxing. The staff, overall, was extremely friendly and truly made our experience better as we made relationships with them during the week. We will definitely be returning to St Lucia and will 100% be staying at Ti Kate again!

Excellent stay

Wonderful place to stay for a quiet get away. Cottage room had a great view over the sea … idea for watching the locals netting fish and the cruising yachts moored up . It is some way off the beaten track so trips have to be planned and arranged in advance. When you first arrive you may just wonder where you are heading, but it is worth it.Sunset cruise to see the Pitons is a must. .Deep sea fishing was great fun. The beach and beach bar are great and they will bring your drinks out onto the beach. The walk down to the beach is a bit step .. but the funicular railway makes a trip down to the beach a dream. The staff are the very best … Vincia’s Painkiller cocktails are best we have ever had. Geniene made our special dinner on the deck something to remember. Dina.Rosa, Kimberly and all the rest of he staff did everything to make our holiday special. One to remember.

DO NOT BOOK HONEYMOON PACKAGE

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

So, I debated giving it a 2 star review as I was really unimpressed on initial thoughts but there were definitely positives. Positives i. Very pretty scenery ii. Beach is beautiful with ample sunbeds and cabanas iii. Rooms well kept and modern with lovely outdoor shower iv. Food is generally of good quality v. Wine sommelier is very well trained, knowledgeable and professional (the rest of the hotel staff need to be up to the level for it to be a 4 star) vi. All inclusive meal included before 3pm on check in and upon check out for lunch as well Negatives i. We booked the honeymoon package (came 2 days after actually getting married) and were told that there was one slot available for the massage, the wine tasting was only 2 days of the week and was already filled, and the dinner on the deck was completely full- The receptionist said she would 'squeeze us in to the wine tasting that day we checked in itself' We arrived there and after a 10minute awkward wait in a room with obviously no seats we were sent away saying there was an error. They re booked it for us (a private one) the next day which was nice with very knowledgeable sommelier but not the best staff. ii. Dinner on the deck was one of the worse dining experiences I have ever had. Since the deck was full, we were put on the wine cellar- we convinced ourselves that perhaps this was better since there were no mosquitos. We got in there, being served the same menu from upstairs, it was 16 degrees in the cellar- the waitress had no idea how to turn of the AC; It was dead silent which was very odd - we asked if there was some music and were bought a speakers to plug into our phones (but then quickly found out this needed to be charged.) staff kept barging in and were surprised to find us there ; And to top it all off the waitress didnt' even know what wines were available by the bottle (this being the hotel with the biggest wine cellar and are big on their wines) there was about 30-40 mins between courses and eventually we asked to move back upstairs as it was just unpleasant being down there. If i was told to book beforehand I would have, but there were no emails to that effect- and why offer a honeymoon package if you cannot provide it. iii. Other negative which isn't terrible but takes away from- is the riff-raff boats that keep docking on the hotel's beach with blaring music and loads of party-goers; not the vibe we were after. iv. Beach bar staff are meant to ask you about your orders but they barely come onto the beach. The online orders take up to 45 mins I would definitely not go again but it is a pretty hotel with beautiful scenery with a fair standard of food. For the cost of the hotel it really isn't worth it. The hospitality and organisation and training of staff needs to improve alot !

Spectacular in every way!

My husband and I chose to visit St. Lucia and stay at Ti Kaye for our Honeymoon. We both agree that both the island and resort are beyond AMAZING! St Lucia has a mix of lush green rainforest and turquoise clear waters with sandy beaches. The people are great, the culture is fun, and the food is delicious! Ti Kaye was incredible. We splurged for a ocean view room with plunge pool and while it was absolutely awesome...all the rooms appeared to have a great view and balcony! Waking up each morning to the beautiful Carribean sea was the best way to start the day. Plus the lush outdoor shower was a cool little addition that helped make it feel like a true exotic escape. The beach was great with the best snorkeling right in the cove. So good, that the excursion boats from the cruise ships make 30min-1 hour stops at our bay to drop off 50+ people to snorkel. While not ideal, it's only for a short time of the day, and it gives you a great reminder why you didn't choose a cruise or mega-resort. You'd have to deal with that all the time. Ti Kaye only has 30 something rooms, so it's pretty quiet and feel exclusive. If you want to be social, there's enough people around to get to know others...However, you never have to fight for a dinner reservation, wait in line at the bar, or fight for a beach lounger. We also bought the all inclusive package, which I highly recommend. The food and drinks are delicious and there's a decent variety. There isn't much nearby and it's not easily accessible so you really sort of rely on the resort for food and drinks (at least for breakfast and/or dinner). I also want to highlight the ownership and management. The owner is regular guy who bought the land in the 90's and turned it into something absolutely special. One of our drivers told us how much the staff loves the owner and how much he does for them and their families. You could tell he was being 100% genuine and heartfelt. We'd much rather support a local business ran by a guy who cares about his staff and community vs a large corporation.

”Ti Kaye Village is incredible! It has a way of making you feel like you are part of a family on holiday with them. The staff caters to every whim you might have, from dinner to sightseeing. Every employee at Ti Kaye was always going out of his or her way to encourage you to relax and enjoy your stay. Even the landscapers would stop and greet you with a warm sunny smile.

The views were picturesque. Imagine waking up every morning and viewing through your French glass doors the St. Lucian seas – without moving from bed! Every touch they added to the cottage was well thought out. There is a swinging hammock for two on your veranda where you can privately watch the sunset. Even taking a simple shower was a lovely, as the outdoor showers offered a way to continue the island experience. The food presentation was scrumptious - every night a different menu with mouthwatering selections.

Every day we would head down to the ocean with a snorkeling mask and jump into the water. It was like swimming in a saltwater fish tank, a few steps off the resort beach.

We were very pleased with our experience with Luxury Link and also with our selection at Ti Kaye. We are 'talking up' both of you and thank you for offering such a wonderful vacation package on your site!”
