Honestly the best...exceptional hospitality from the moment we arrived. Sugar Ridge ticked all the boxes, a perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! Location was outstanding, exceptional views from our room (60), sunset over the sea and panoramic view of Jolly Harbour. Secluded spot at the top of the hill. Close to outstanding restaurant, Carmichael's and infinity pool. Excellent shuttle in air conditioned cars between room and main reception, available whenever required. Rooms are top standard, four poster beds which are very comfortable Restaurants and bars of very high standard, cuisine excellent. Throughout the day transport provided to the local beaches, which are just fantastic. Amenities at beaches excellent, lovely bars/restaurants and restrooms. Hotel provide towels for both beach and pools. Such a helpful touch. The most important and impressive part of this little part of paradise was the staff...impossible to name everyone but I would like to thank particularly some: Jolee, Cherissa, Alissa, Tori, Brian, Kevin, Glendon, Carleen, Shanice and Prince. Everyone was so kind, considerate, thoughtful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, all ready to help. They all made the magic happen for us! Antigua is a very special place with very special people.

We had the most amazing time here. They made our honeymoon and our time there special. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating and couldn't have asked for anything better. They were prompt and were helpful!

My wife and I stayed at Sugar Ridge for 14 days, wish it could have been longer. This was our 5th visit to Antigua so obviously we love the island and the people. We have always visited with friends and family before and stayed at a villa, but this time was just the 2 of us so we went B&B at Sugar Ridge hoping to be pampered. We were not disappointed. We arrived a bit early but were well looked after and given a rum punch which always goes down well. We were shown to our room which was on the ground floor and had a plunge pool. The room was spotless and there was maid service every day to keep it that way. There was a small problem with the water levels in the plunge pool but as soon as I mentioned it someone came and it was sorted out. We went B&B so we could hire a car for part of our stay and go to a number of other restaurants we had got to know in previous trips. But I must say the food in the restaurant at Sugar Ridge was very good, and as for Carmichaels, wow! The shuttle to the 2 local beaches and the way we were looked after on these beaches was first class. And the snorkelling around Turners was fantastic. But what really made the holiday special for us was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after. Yes as a previous reviewer says, a little bit of maintenance needs doing but it is a challenging environment out there, and you wont really notice it unless you look for it. Thanks to everyone for a fantastic holiday!

STUNNING Property. Excellent staff, great food, with even better rooms. The hospitality at Sugar Ridge is unmatched. From check in, to the dining, to the housekeeping. I was very impressed with my room, which was immaculate, cleaned every day, and had the best view ever My only qualm with the room was that there were bats nesting on my Veranda at night. I would recommend Sugar Ridge to anyone looking for comfort, views, and excellent service.

We went on an Aveda points trip...so we had little expectations, just ready to relax. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was nice with a small plunge pool. I loved the pool on top of the hill and the views there are wonderful. The breakfast was included and I loved the choices for meals. We had a massage with our Aveda points and it was fantastic. You could walk down the hill to restaurants and the staff would drive you to local beaches in a land rover. Overall, the island is beautiful and very affordable.
