The Crane Resort

The plants in the garden are unique and well manicured, and the grounds are clean and well kept, so kudos to the grounds men. The room looks beautiful and housekeeping of each space including the linens was superior. The concierge Chantel went above and beyond to make us feel like VIP at planned activities even on last moment requested trips. Chantal daily amazing greetings made us feel super welcome at the Crane; kudos to Chantal make sure you meet her upon your visit at the Crane. The daily buffet breakfast was always on point; kudos to all the Chefs. The restaurant manager where we has the the Buffet was super friendly and aims to please, with excellent problem solving skills. The staff are awesome, friendly and we were amazed to take notice of the frequent greetings as they passed us by on the grounds; such perfect manners it made us feel very at home and welcome. Our bus driver from the hotel was very professional and knowledgeable of the island. I would definitely love to return to the historic Crane with my entire family and friends to enjoy what I experienced.

We visited Crane resort for a family vacation. After eating at one of the restaurants, my wife started vomiting profusely within 15 minutes on site in their bathroom. The response from one of the staff was “but the food was cooked fresh”. It makes me concerned that they may not have a proper understanding of safe food handling practices. We will never return to this resort.

The Crane Resort was a 10 out of 10, my best friend surprised me with a B-Day trip and I must say it did not disappoint. We had the 2 bedroom penthouse suite with a private rooftop pool & sundeck when I say the views were spectacular!!! The staff was helpful and inviting everyone was good. However 3 staff members really stood out Anthony who took us to our room was amazing with getting us situated and explaining all of the in -room amenities thoroughly, he also setup a last minute restaurant reservation for us coupled with door to door pick up and drop off… Michelle with housekeeping was a gem she made sure we were good to go the entire time we were there our room stayed pristine, and Ericka with concierge was great with trying to track down a Barbadian distilled rum that we were trying to find locally, however we found out that it is distilled locally but only sold internationally… See y’all soon

There are a few people I want to call out three ladies that made this trip 5 stars for us. 1. Donna Moore was so welcoming at check-in and checked in every time she saw us. She is such a bright light!!! I will look for her on our next trip. Just to check in. 2. Valencia Jones, our house-keeper made sure we were taken care. She anticipated our needs before we asked. I ask for her room next time. 3. Chaunte from Concierge provided recommendations to fit our budget and accommodate our life style. She was very helpful.

We had a lovely stay in one bedroom suite with its own private pool overlooking the main pool area. The service at this resort is great, everyone we met was so friendly. This resort is not for someone wanting a lot of nightlife as it is 30 minutes from Bridgetown. However we were looking forward to some time to destress and our stay did that. We used our pool everyday, several times a day. The bed was so tall but very comfy. The room was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with plates, silverware and coffee.
