About the Hotel

Named after one of the French Riviera's most popular ships,Saint Armour La Tartane serves as a port from the storms of daily life. Just minutes from Saint-Tropez, it blends comfort, luxury and warm, Provencal hospitality. A union of water features, natural stone and gardens provide the backdrop for an intimate collection of bedrooms and suites, all of which open onto private patios. The restaurant, too, embraces a tiled terrace, where dappled rays of sunlight enhance sun-kissed southern French cuisine.

Excellent stay ❤️

So grateful for this place to our experience that we had! this place can not be called the hotel - it’s a real home ❤️ so let’s start with the objective reasons - property is amazing, absolutely stylish, frenchy and relaxed. I guess just renovated, so there are no remarks about the property AT ALL. Swimming pool area is absolutely gorgeous and it makes you dive straight to Wes Anderson movies - very cinematographic and photographic;) food is fantastic, wine card is everything you need. You have a shuttle service to go to the center of the city (7-10 mins by car) and a concierge service that could help you with EVERYTHING you need The room itself is not that big (it is France), but not small at all! There is a plenty designed space to store all your belongings, we were two girls and we easily put 4 our really big cases in the room with all our dresses and shoes, if you know what I mean :) beds are real comfort ❤️and it is very quiet in the hotel, really quiet! But the biggest treasure of this hotel - is their staff. when you meet them you understand that there is no stuff at all in this hotel - there are only hosts: careful, benevolent and attentive. I would like to thank personally all the guys, but I am afraid to forget someone! Because everyone we met from the team was just astonishing! I wish you a very good luck guys and best regards Hope to see you next summer Best regards, Anastasiia

Amazing hotel with dedicated staff, cosy rooms, excellent food and awesome atmosphere. Do try the well sorted morning buffet and the Asian kitchen. We where here for to nights and stayed by the pool with only one trip to see Minuty and St. Tropez. We preferred to Hotel 🙌

Nice hotel but not worth the splurge

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 months ago

My husband and I booked La Tartane as the final stay to our honeymoon in France. We decided to splurge a bit on our final nights given it's St. Tropez so we were expecting a true 5-star stay. I'll start with the positives! We loved the shuttle service that the hotel offered as well as the electric bikes. They also graciously arranged for two day beds at a beach club. The room was nice and the air conditioning worked well. The shuttle drivers and the lower-level staff at the hotel were also very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious (and included!) and we loved the juices, fresh bread, and wide selection of fruits each morning. Now for the context on the 3/5 review... we felt that the management was a bit pretentious and cold. We didn't feel entirely comfortable during our stay, it felt as if we were constantly being judged. Beyond that, it was apparent that some of the other staff members felt unhappy working there which was also uncomfortable. The room while updated and nice was also pretty tight, there was barely any room to put our suitcases. The pool area is nice but also a bit smaller than we anticipated. It felt like a boutique hotel that is a bit overpriced. Overall, we mostly enjoyed our stay but opt to stay somewhere else in the future.

I was impressed

The hotel and the staff were AMAZING! I cannot think of anything this hotel was missing. Beautiful and serene setting that offered guests the ability to relax. One thing you might not find at this hotel is a room with a sea view. Most of the rooms are in a small tropical area that is not immediately on the beach. The staff was probably the best staff I have seen. Tha k you for taking care of us!

Idyllic Tropizienne Stay

Hotel Tartane was the most incredible hospitality experience we’ve ever had. We visited in June 2023 for our honeymoon, and Tartane was the highlight of our time on the French Riviera. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and polished; the redesigned space (from the pool to the breakfast buffet to the landscaping) is exquisite, personal, and private; the room was clean, charming, and equipped with everything we could have needed; the shuttles were extremely convenient and timely in getting to beach and downtown; and finally, the meals at Saint Amour were unique, memorable, and multidimensional. We will talk about this trip for the rest of our lives…thank you, Tartane!!!
