The Grand America is the best hotel in Salt Lake City, very grand, with spacious, well-appointed rooms. The aesthetic is a bit dated, but pleasant and very comfortable. We had a lot of space to spread out, the bathroom is huge (with a second vanity outside the main bathroom!), and the view of the mountains was beautiful. The restaurant is good, and you can also walk across the street and eat at their sister property, Little America.

We had a Board meeting with spouses event and everyone loved the hotel, meeting rooms and meals. The Sales staff, Convention Services Manager, and Banquet Captains were all wonderful to work with and took care of our every need with promptness and efficiency! We loved it so much, we booked again for our larger January meeting.

Fantastic stay. Without a doubt the best hotel in SLC and a great value for a luxury stay. The service from the staff was amazing and the rooms were incredibly large and comfortable. Awesome views of the mountains and fantastic location in downtown.

My husband and I stayed here two nights in one week (before and after a Deer Valley ski trip). Both times we stayed, we received a complimentary room upgrade. The rooms were large and included a sitting area. The bathroom is also large with plenty of room for two people to get ready at the same time. The beds and pillows were dreamy, and the water pressure in the shower was good. There were great views of the mountains and sunset from our balcony. There’s a large pool with a hot tub also open to guests. The lobby has a beautiful bar area. On a Sunday afternoon a harpist was playing, and on a Friday night there was a jazz band — very nice! The staff each time was very helpful with food suggestions, storing of luggage, and giving directions. The only knock on the hotel is the rooms have somewhat dated interiors.

The hotel is grand in every sense of the word. It’s beautiful, the staff is superb, the food is delicious, the rooms are comfy and spacious, the spa is opulent, the pool is great fun, and there are four bars! Keeps one in “good spirits!” We enjoyed a staycation that was most GRAND.
