The best luxury ski hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We have been going to Rosa Alpina for years but this is the first time since Aman took over. It is, without a doubt, one of our favourite hotels in the world. True high-end luxury service with the best staff and facilities one could ask for. If you want to do luxury skiing properly, this is the place to go. We had one of the best suites overlooking the church, with a fireplace in the middle, a lovely seating area and a large double shower. The beds are wonderful, and it is a great space to relax. The ski butler service, who will sort your boots, skis, and help you take your gear on and off before you have a glass of warm apple cocktail and homemade chocolates in the ski room, is all excellent. The staff around the hotel are constantly friendly and attentive. They knew us all by name and went above and beyond to help (even going to the pharmacy to collect medication for us). There is no petty signing of receipts everywhere you go like in lower-end hotels. If you order something, they trust that they will record the order correctly and that guests can afford it. This is such a key distinguishing factor from other hotels where every penny or cent spent requires you to sign a little receipt and add tips - as if they don't trust you. The Aman is a cut above. The spa is excellent, and the kid's pool is brilliant (and very quiet). The restaurant is sublime - the wagyu especially, and they catered really well for out 17-month old daughter. They very kindly also provided a microwave in the room for us to heat up her food pouches for snacks. Five-star all the way. We will be back again next year.

A real Aman experience!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Aman Rosa Alpina is a truly beautiful resort, set in a stunning mountain village. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The Grill restaurant offers excellent meat selections, with high-quality cuts full of flavor. However, the highlight of our stay was without a doubt the experience at Enju. It is a unique and memorable dining concept, where you cook your own food at the table in a traditional hot pot, making the whole experience interactive and special. The staff were extremely polite, professional, and attentive. A special and heartfelt thank you to Aphrodite, who was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, guiding us through the entire process at Enju and making us feel comfortable from start to finish. Her thoroughness and kind nature elevated our experience to another level. Overall, Aman Rosa Alpina offers not just luxury, but genuine hospitality and unforgettable experiences. Highly recommended!

Not yet up to the Aman brand

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

The location leaves a bit to be desired. Unless you plan on eating all of your meals in house ( right now there’s only one restaurant on property) there are not really any options in the small town. On another note, the hot tub is poorly designed. Rather than a view of the amazing Dolomites, you view only the back of the hotel, which is completely unaesthetic. Another issue in the pool area is that there is not a lot of service around the pool . Restaurant was good. Rooms are nice but entry level rooms are small for the Aman brand. Interior public spaces are beautiful.

Great Dolomite Escape

new fantastic Aman in Italy. We had a suite overlooking the mountains with a fireplace and a sauna . The food is excellent , but the service needs some improvement to be at the Aman standard

Great food, non existent service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 months ago

We had dinner at The Grill and the food was excellent. Shame for the service which is definitely not on a 5 star standard: the restaurant manager kept shouting at his staff infront of customers, our table was not cleaned, you could hear tons of noise from the kitchen, nobody asked if we wanted coffee or anything else with our dessert and ice cream was substituted with another flavor without checking whether this was okay with us. Shame that the non existent service ruins a great culinary experience.
