Wonderful Hotel

First visit, very comfortable with really excellent staff. Two swimming pools, excellent gym and two very good restaurants. Breakfast could be so substantial you could skip luncheon. Their transport was very good both to the ski lift and to local restaurants.

DOLOMITI SUPERSKI Haven Deluxe

We stayed at Rosa Alpine in the midst of our 8 days skiing through the Dolomites on our Ski Safari. The Rosa Alpina provided cozy, comfortable rooms, extra fine dining, and exceptional service staff. Although we experienced a challenge with our bathroom the first evening ( tub and shower refused to drain water), they promptly transferred us to another room, Dining in house was ultra gourmet, a true treat.

Quite simply wonderful

My husband and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Rosa Alpina. We had the most amazing time - and it is the staff that make it so special. Every one was charming, friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way to look after you and nothing was too much trouble - even when my husband managed to leave his credit card in a mountain restaurant, the concierge arranged for it to be brought down the mountain and then collected by taxi and brought back to the hotel. Breakfast is unbelievable - I would challenge anyone to find something that wasn't on offer - all absolutely delicious. The bar is lovely - and every drink is served with delicious amuse bouches. There is a pianist in the evening who could possibly do with turning down the volume a little! We ate in the Wine Bar and grill on 3 nights - the food is good, although life would be so much easier with a smaller wine list. We didn't try St Hubertus this time. The shuttle too and from the slopes works like a dream and it's so lovely to ski down at the end of the day and just be able to hand over your skis to one of the lovely drivers. My only criticism is the room. In itself it was really lovely and comfy with great bathroom. However it was extremely hot with no apparent way of controlling the heat - other than sleeping with the door open which was fine until about 5am when the snow ploughs started. Obviously there isn't usually as much snow as this year, but we had 3 of our 4 nights disturbed. Make sure you ask for a room at the back to avoid this problem. Despite that we will absolutely definitely be going back - they just look after you so well.

Our (luxury) home away from home

This is our fourth visit to Rosa Alpina, both in summer and winter, and we can't stay away. We took a one week winter ski package. Consider the value. It's not often that a visit at a 3 star Michelin star restaurant (St Hubertus) is part of the 'half board' experience of staying at one of the best hotels in the world. Yet it is the staff, not the Michelin stars, or the ever-smiling inspirational head chef Norbert, which make us come back. Warm, friendly, efficient and dedicated. They know your name, and your favourite coffee at breakfast. After a day of hard skiing, they are ready with drinks and the best aperativo. Indeed, why am I writing this? I want to make sure there is an available room for us next year! :-)

Loved the Rosa Alpina hotel so much we are already booked for this year again. The best breakfast bufete, beautiful spa, and great service, at night the piano man at the bar gave us the best entertainment ever! I felt at home.
