Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina

The location leaves a bit to be desired. Unless you plan on eating all of your meals in house ( right now there’s only one restaurant on property) there are not really any options in the small town. On another note, the hot tub is poorly designed. Rather than a view of the amazing Dolomites, you view only the back of the hotel, which is completely unaesthetic. Another issue in the pool area is that there is not a lot of service around the pool . Restaurant was good. Rooms are nice but entry level rooms are small for the Aman brand. Interior public spaces are beautiful.

We had dinner at The Grill and the food was excellent. Shame for the service which is definitely not on a 5 star standard: the restaurant manager kept shouting at his staff infront of customers, our table was not cleaned, you could hear tons of noise from the kitchen, nobody asked if we wanted coffee or anything else with our dessert and ice cream was substituted with another flavor without checking whether this was okay with us. Shame that the non existent service ruins a great culinary experience.

Siamo stati per un aperitivo con amici e ci siamo sentiti subito accolti in un’atmosfera calda, curata e autentica. Gli ambienti sono bellissimi: ampi, luminosi, eleganti senza essere mai eccessivi o impostati. Tutto è molto raffinato e in perfetta armonia, dai materiali alla luce, dagli arredi agli spazi lounge, che invitano a fermarsi e a godersi il momento con naturalezza. Ottima la carta dei cocktail, così come la selezione dei vini. Il servizio è stato meraviglioso: uno staff giovane, preparato, attento e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta, con grande professionalità e sorriso. È stato tutto all’altezza delle mie aspettative, e forse anche di più. Torneremo sicuramente.

Il cibo era buono, come ci si aspetta a quei prezzi: ma il servizio ha lasciato a desiderare: confusione tra il personale, piatto ordinato sbagliato e sostituzione arrivata solo quando avevamo già finito di cenare. Ciliegina sulla torta? La bottiglia di vino che sostituiva quella da me scelta “nella stessa fascia di prezzo “ si è magicamente trasformata al momento del conto nel doppio del costo. In sintesi: se cercate buona cucina, siete a posto; se cercate un servizio all’altezza… preparatevi alle sorprese.
