The property has no fences to prevent falling into the water features, the water is stagnant and disgusting, the walls are PAPER THIN - we could hear the people next to us who were speaking in normal tones of voice. Literally every word of their conversations. The rooms were spacious and clean, but I could get that at virtually any hotel. As mentioned in almost every review, the parking fee is ridiculous. There is no shortage of parking and it is assigned per room! Why would I pay for assigned parking? Not to mention there are two large parking lots on property in addition to the room parking. The conference rooms were unacceptable for our needs and did not offer microphones in some rooms. Everyone in my group who came for this conference is recommending it be held at a different location from now on. The location was great because we could easily leave the resort and go elsewhere to less expensive but just as high in quality restaurants and bars.

From the moment we checked in to the resort; i felt like a VIP. The ladies at the front desk were so pleasant. It seems my husband must have told them it was my birthday; because they had a lovely gift for me. Once we arrived to our room; we felt like we were on our own private little island. We had a view of the bay, palms trees and beautiful blue sky. The room was neatly setup with a comfortable bed, double vanity bathroom and even a small kitchenette. The living space had a pull out couch and table and chairs. We spent the weekend riding our bikes, relaxing by the pool and we even had a bonfire on the bay! It was the most awesome birthday gift. The spa, pool area, the grounds all make you feel like you are in a far away land; but actually you are minutes from the City. The coffee cart in the lobby was awesome; Mark will hook you up with his positive energy and java. I can't wait to go back to Paradise Point.

I did a review a year ago and wanted to update the details. We are 10 year repeat guests and this year we did 2 rooms. The difference from last year to this year is remarkable! The rooms are all updated and cleaner, there are fewer ducks and droppings and seems like more staff as well. All the furnishings in the room are pretty, the tubs were replaced with large showers and the soap and lotion dispensers in the shower are easier to use than before. We ate at the Barefoot Bar and all 4 selections we had were delicious. I am partial to the wings and vegetable crudite, my sister had the veggie quesadilla which was perfect and huge. We also used the Pizza restaurant for takeout, the pizzas were large and done well, it was busy as it was a rainy night, but the wait was only about 15 minutes. The front desk staff and especially Josh in reservations were so kind and efficient. I booked one room, added another and then as a surprise added a day to the second room for my son and girlfriend to stay longer. The desk staff were able to honor a request to add a room AND locate it close to the first at the last minute. It was a bit cold for May but there is so much to do at the resort we had a wonderful time. The pools are heated and very clean. The gift shop is filled with gorgeous souvenirs and necessities if you forget something. The rooms have a small refrigerator and new Keurig coffeemakers as well. There is a small coffee bar in the lobby with delicious morning pastries and fruit as well. My son did an overhead drone video and has it posted on the Paradise Point FB page, you can see how private the area is. The resort is a quick ride to the beach on the Pacific Ocean and to grocery stores and restaurants. The resort is located on the bay and there is always boating activity to watch or you can rent water toys right at the resort. There are fire pits on the beach and you can buy wood in the gift shop as well as snacks and fixings for amores ! We look forward to our next visit and want to thank ALL the staff for a great time this spring. Josh in reservations - you are a star, thanks again!
