I stayed at Paradise Point for a special Event I was hosting and between the issues with our event & our hotel room that had not been remodeled, and they want to charge over $400 a night for a bathroom that had mildew, broken tiles etc... I will not be staying there again.

Great location, on the water, lots of property, but this resort is still living in the 1960s. In some cases it looks just the same, with peeling paint, fifty+ year-old design. I'm sure at one time this resort was state of the art and quite beautiful. Now it just seems tired. And the rates remain amazingly high for such a place. Didn't see much staff, although the room was serviced for a few days. Lots of walking to get to the restaurants or front desk or anywhere else. Not a great location for meetings, better for individuals or families enjoying a few days away.

Get away for our 10 year anniversary brought the kids. It was so great being right on the bay. Convenient clean and very helpful staff and cool app to view and ask for anything you need. I would love to stay again and enjoy the resort longer.

Our experience at Paradise Point was fantastic. The grounds are uniquely beautiful, especially for San Diego. There were plenty of beautiful places to relax throughout the property, including a number of lagoons with all sorts of impressive and healthy wildlife! The Tidal restaurant is fantastic (food and drinks were delicious)... we had dinner outside one evening and even lucked into a prime seat for an incredible fireworks event! For a more casual setting, check out the Barefoot Bar for drinks and good bar-food/snacks throughout the day. On Sunday they have live music that everyone enjoyed while watching the games. Overall, an excellent place to spend some time.

I did not have a chance to use the hotel's facilities past the conference room and one restaurant due to free time constraints. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom in my room-spiders webs with bugs in the web, dirty tub. Nice size room. bed was very comfortable, although you could hear everything through the door that adjoins the next room.
