Would not recommend,. the price point is not worth the experience. You can't control the access and usage of guests in front of your own suite. Restaurant is mediocre, pools are quite small, staff is friendly but not effective with any issues. Rooms were dirty especially the floors you can't walk barefoot. We had 3 separate rooms reserved with Bayside views.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Point. Our Garden Bungalow Suite in the hibiscus circle was beautiful—clean, well appointed and had a great view of the lagoon. It also came with a mini fridge large enough to store snacks for the week/meals for our toddler and a microwave in the kitchen area. The main pool is very inviting and barefoot offered a lot of great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is so much to see and do in San Diego but we spent most of our week long vacation just relaxing and enjoying the resort. I will say that the service is what really sets this place apart. Everyone we encountered was so kind and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there. I do want to shout out Samantha at the front desk, specifically. She is great and we were lucky enough to have her help us with check in and check out. She was so gracious when we had to check out early due to a family emergency and while we were sad to cut our stay short, we know we will be returning. Thanks for the great stay!!

Very subpar resort experience. The rooms are dated and smell like motel. Staff was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food options were not great and drinks were overpriced but I suppose that is to be expected at resort. The marketplace on site was extremely overpriced, two small bags of chips were about $9 with tax. For the price point, I just don't think this place is worth it. About $1600 for four nights.

We hosted a networking event for the blind and visually impaired community at Barefoot Bar & Grill inside Paradise Point Resort & Spa and I cannot praise the staff enough for how they handled our group. This wasn't originally supposed to be a large gathering, but we ended up having way more people show up than our RSVP list anticipated. Despite the sudden influx, the staff accommodated us on the fly without missing a beat. Evan and Jack were absolutely amazing. They pivoted instantly, made sure our entire group felt welcome and comfortable, and handled the logistics seamlessly with incredible grace and warmth. Hosting a group with specific accessibility needs requires care, and this team delivered top-tier service under unexpected pressure. Beyond the stellar service, the venue itself is stunning. It has a gorgeous, scenic coastal vibe right on the Mission Bay marina, surrounded by lush palm trees everywhere. It provided the perfect, relaxing San Diego backdrop for our crowd. To top it all off, the food was great, the appetizers were a huge hit, and the drinks at the bar were fantastic. If you want a venue with incredible views, great food, and a staff that can handle literally anything thrown at them, Barefoot Bar & Grill is the place. Thank you to Andrea Higgs, Evan, and Jack for turning a stressful RSVP surprise into a massive success! We will definitely be back.

Extremely disappointed. As a local, I’ve spent much time and money at this resort. Staff can be pleasant except when asking for basics like a blanket or a manager. Ended up double charged for two nights when I ended up canceling the following due to the amount of disrespect and hospitality. The fact I felt so uncomfortable that I couldn’t sleep in a hotel to relax so I left should say something . Zero service, except the bar. A hostile would be better to be honest .
