I stayed in a spacious king bungalow room with a lanai overlooking a pond that was recently updated! A beautiful spacious new room with a spa bathroom and all the amenities! Paradise Resort has everything on property which is great for singles, couples or families....5 pools with an adult only pool and several restaurants to choose from. I didn't have kids with us but it is a great place for them with a golf putting green, basketball and tennis courts, bike rentals and so much more to keep the family busy. As we were only there for a weekend there wasn't time to use everything they had to offer...the spa looked wonderful and got great reviews...hopefully next visit! Bonfires at night on the beach making s'mores was amazing too. The resort is close to all the tourist attractions too if you ever want to leave and check out San Diego! The staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable!

This place has gone downhill fast. It was always expensive, but the amenities and service made it seem worth it. This last trip we took was disappointing. I booked my room last November as a Black Friday prepay deal and was very excited when we arrived for 3 nights last month during spring break. When I arrived at the front desk and checked in, they gave me the wrong room. I had booked a one bedroom so that the kids would have a separate sleeping area from my wife and I. They gave me a standard room instead. So I think "Oh there is a mixup, no problem , I'll go get it fixed." Front desk apologized and looked at my reservation and said, "Oh, it looks like management downgraded it. ". I'm thinking WTF? But she gives me another room with an ocean view so I'm thinking , Oh well they are making it right and upgrading me, cool! Well no, still only one room, no separate sleeping quarters, which we needed and had booked. :( So I go back and tell them and they apologize and put me in a room by their conference center which has 2 separate rooms. But it was a very makeshift one bedroom as the main room was part of a bigger room that had a retractable wall, and you could hear the conference or whatever was going on through the walls. But we made do. Obviously though I am now in nitpick mode since the stay has started off so poorly. The room has a kitchen as do all the one bedrooms. But they are not equipped at all. No cups, plates, paper towels, nothing. Just very bare bones. Not a big deal, except for the amount of money you pay for the rooms, you expect them to be better equipped. The rooms are becoming outdated and the quality of their private beach has gone down quite a bit, eroded quite a bit from the rains over the last year, and very dirty. It needs to be goomed. You just expect more for the price.

Beautiful resort with lots of pools and restaurants. Great customer service with a very friendly staff. Very close to airport, downtown San Diego and Mission Beach. My only complaint is that the the rooms were dated, and overall inner room cleanliness and maintenance should be improved.

Paradise Point Resort was beautiful! I felt like I was in Hawaii. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I loved the Bar and Restaurant by the water. Every meal was delicious. Wish I could have stayed longer - I would definitely come back again!

I visited Paradise Point a few years ago for a business trip and fell in love! I made a promise to return with my family and just did last week for 4 wonderful nights. The property is stunningly beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly. We enjoyed making s'mores by the beach fire pits and feeding the fish at the salt water pond full of unique fish, eels and even leopard sharks by the Barefoot grill! The pool and hot tub areas are family friendly and well maintained. My massage at the spa was fantastic! I also took at boat ride out into the bay and saw dolphins swimming right next to us. Sea World is a quick cab ride away and is a fabulous place to spend the day. That being said, there were a few minor issues, which did not bother me since we were literally in paradise. The lack of a microwave in room was disappointing. The option to rent for $20 a day was excessive. The hotel should seriously consider changing this policy. We also chose not to rent a car due to the high parking rate per night, which was fine as cabs and Lyft rides are plentiful. Highly recommend Paradise Point for family fun and relaxation! We will be back❤️🐬🌴☀️
