We stay here as a family , once a year for four days when my son plays in the World Series in San Diego for baseball. You truly feel like you're on your own private little island. They always give us a room and it's literally right on the water , you only have to walk about 8 feet to be standing in the beautiful ocean. The entire resort is her really well capped they have great restaurants so you don't have to leave and drive anywhere. The whole time you're there you have a beautiful view of the bay and the ocean and you can even see the Coronado Bridge. Our family will continue to visit once a year.

The grounds of the Paradise Point Resort are lovely - flowers, birds, ponds, fountains, the beach. So high marks there. But the rooms are really dated. We were in town for a car show, and there's a saying in the car world, "it'll pass the 20-foot test", meaning at 20', the car looks pretty good, but as you get closer, the flaws start showing up. So it is with the rooms here at PPR. On first glance they look nice. But then you start looking for a place to plug in your chargers, and then the towel rack threatens to fall off and the paint around the mirror in the bathroom looks a little worn. So - all in all - not horrible, but just needs updating. On the plus side, our room (which was a Premium I believe) had a sitting area next to a pretty pond and a couple of chairs. Coming from the land of mosquitos, we loved sitting outside and relaxing without those pesky annoyances. Also, they needed more people at check-in. The line was out the door. Water in the room was $4 and a coffee at the coffee bar was $5. We went off property for breakfast.

Great spot on a large property with the cabanas, and a lovely check in by helpful staff with great suggestions of where to go to eat and relax in the city (Keana at night and Kara/Matthew in the morning on the front desk) Ive read some of the other reviews and luckily we had no problems sleeping, our rooms were clean and the resort was a treat to walk around. Looks like part of it is getting some upgrades and refurbishing so I cant wait to come back and check it out when its all over! 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

For being a resort, I would consider this one to be below resort standards. The rooms were large enough but the floors were filthy and I found two VERY large cockroaches in my tub. The chairs on my back patio where very worn and needed to be painted. The curtains over the french doors had a huge rip in them and the bed skirt was ripped. The AC unit made a terrible rattling noise while it was on. I would say overall that a lot of renovation needs to be done to this location to be called a resort. My encounters with the staff very pleasant. Everyone was very friendly and said hello as they passed in their golf carts.

My family has been coming to Paradise Point since the 1990"s. We love it and it is only getting better. We love the fact that it is all inclusive. The younger children can play safely at the beach and the older family members can swim, go kayaking, sailing, boating, etc. We love to fly kites a the park right across the way, and we love t bike ririding together.
