This is becoming a favorite staycation for my family in San Diego. Tends to do and beautiful Resort makes you feel like you're in Polynesian Village. Newly remodeled rooms are beautiful and specially if you can get one on the bay just steps to the beach. It was a little cloudy and rainy so the fireplace Suite was perfect. Mayada in the island Market was so helpful and friendly and helped us with our mini golf. Really cute store too. My daughter and I also did mani-pedis. Tiffany and Juliana are amazing and I highly recommend them.

Really loved the scenery and tranquility of this resort. Definitely recommend the was amazing! The barefoot restaurant was great and loved the atmosphere. Our room had a nice patio with a lagoon off of it with ducks!

I visited this resort for a conference and was delighted about the property. Very easy to access the convention center and the bungalows. They bungalows were a treat. They line the beach and are spacious and nicely decorated. Bed and linens were great. The food in the resort was well prepared and tasty. Check in and check out was a breeze. Even obtaining a fed ex package was no problem. The service was stellar. Lots of great staff to help. They set up a party on the beach and in the pool area. Great venue for conferences . The parking was also a plus as you were able to park right next to your bungalows. The resort also had bikes and water sports equipment for rent. It would be a great place to couples or families as the beach is very clean. So, go and enjoy!

This met all expectations for a short business trip and conference. I would definitely return for a leisure trip. The staff was attentive, pleasant, and highly accommodating. The fitness room offered everything needed to continue training for a half marathon. And the 5 mile trail added an additional outdoor training option with a spectacular view of the 44 acre island.

My title sort of summed up the service experience at this expensive resort. For the price, I expected much better service. My room was right on the beach--nice! Recently renovated--nice!! Finding it at night was a chore. Poor directional signage and poor lighting. Broken towel holder next to the sink. One light switch never worked. And only paper cups for the coffee maker? Drinks at the bar--overpriced--$20 for cocktail. Service was slow pretty much everywhere. You are on Mission Bay which is about 8 miles from downtown San Diego. I would find a different resort next time.
