The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Some nice offerings for families and a great location. But some dated facilities and lack of flow around resort and beach made it hard to really enjoy. Could use some renovations.

Just need to clean the room/bathrooms a little better. The baseboards and bottom of the door in the bathroom were filthy. And the curtains on the patio door were very dirty also. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The resort could be cleaned up better, I had ants in my room the first night. And the beds are not comfortable at all. Overall, I don't think the resort was worth the cost. Especially $70 in resort and parking fees per night.

The overall property was beautiful. Staff was very nice and helpful! Our room was newly renovated. Only problem is the shower door would not stay closed, we had to wedge a towel in the tracks to make it stay closed. Bed was comfortable. Had cocktails and appetizers at Barefoot bar and Grill. Food and drinks were good but with any resort, a little over priced! Pool was nice and relaxing, but again the food and drinks at the pool were a little overpriced! Overall it was a pleasant stay!

I read a lot of reviews before coming here and was a little nervous but it gave me a good game plan to go with. So here is an honest review and I think you will appreciate it! We flew in from Minnesota so I wanted a good stay. We took an Uber from the airport and the resort looked awesome during the night. People complained about the grounds not being managed but I didn't see a problem. Birds poop- so deal with it. We checked in with Efrain (I believe that is what his name is) and because of all the reviews I asked if we were in a renovated room or not and he said we were not. I told him I didn't fly all the way from Minnesota to be in an old room and he gave us an updated room on request! We were very appreciative of it and can't thank him enough because we heard a lot about the older rooms being lame. Our room was sweet so ask for a renovated room when you arrive. Very nice decor, bathroom, etc. I see a lot of people complain about little things and I didn't see anything that was bothersome. Shouldn't stay at hotels if you are that picky. We saw the construction and remodeling so it looks like all the rooms will be updated soon. Staff were very friendly. We laid by the adult pool and that was nice. We had drinks at the tropical cantina and Bobby and Donel were GREAT! The beach on the bay is a nice place to relax. Ate at Barefoot grill for breakfast twice and once for lunch. Lunch was okay but breakfast was way better. Everything is overpriced but good. I'd go there once just for breakfast if I were visiting. Again- way too expensive for what we already paid. The bay was cool with the bonfires in the sand. But overall it was a nice stay. I took half a star away because everything is overpriced. Resort fee is dumb and ridiculous. We didn't park but I hear parking is way too expensive. Everything should just be included in the price. I took another half star away because they didn't have a shuttle to transport people to nearby attractions. That would have been nice and a good reason to actually have the resort fee. You think they would but they don't so utilize Uber. A lot of resorts we stay at provide transportation all around, including the airport. Would I stay here again? Tough to say. I struggle with the overpricing. I think I could get a hotel on the oceanfront for this price. We are staying on the resort and paying the resort fee so there should be a discount for the customers. They also need to get a shuttle for the money they are making. Would have been a nice amenity. We didn't use the fitness center but it looked nice. The basketball and tennis courts looked fine. But we are here to relax, drink, eat good food and explore. Also- the rentals for the bikes, jet skis, boats etc. are ridiculous. Again, over priced and should have discount for the customers that are already overpaying for the resort fee and parking. 3.9 stars out of 5.0!
