Romantic trip with great food! Very accommodating for infants.
The location was beautiful and a romantic stay with my wife. The food was delicious and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Might not be the most ideal place for when traveling with children since their kid area was a little small but the pool was very nice. They did accommodated us with a crib and new crib sheets whenever our child needed. Overall a great place for a romantic get away.

Less Than We Expected
Resort is older and need of updating. Room was OK (and we were supposedly upgraded) and food was generally good - think old country club feel. Spa, spa pool, and a single hot tub close to our room were filthy - we notified them of the hot tub issue close to our room and it took two days for them to address it (the night we were leaving). The adult pool was OK. My wife had a spa treatment - massage - so she could access the spa for the day while I was away on business (otherwise she would have had to pay a $69 charge to access the spa without the massage) - the massage was marginal (therapist spent more time moving warming blankets than massaging) while the spa pool (supposedly restricted only to those using the spa - supposed to be higher end) was filthy as well as the sauna and steam room.

I was for a Golf tournament enjoyed! We enjoyed our stay, the food and the ambiance of the whole facility!

Rancho Bernardo is one of the most enchanting inns in the U.S. The fountains are well worth the attention they command in artwork. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable beyond belief. Absolutely love this piece of heaven.
