Rancho Bernardo Inn

The grounds are absolutely lovely. The rooms are nicely laid out. We had a lovely patio with a fire pit that was beautiful at night. Our only complaint was check-in. We had a travel zoo, deal, and watched customer after customer check-in and when we came up with our travel zoo reservation, we were told our room it’s not ready for another 15 to 20 minutes and they would text us when the room was ready. The time was 2:55 PM. We drove around Rancho Bernardo and by 3:25. We decided to go back. No text but we did get our room. The second thing that was hard was the lack of easy access to rooms. We were on the bottom floor, so it meant two flights of stairs. Not that we were not able to navigate the stairs, but with luggage, it was a concern for us and other people. Breakfast was a disappointment. We had a $60 voucher and the food was creative, but not great. We still owed $19 for two breakfast and two coffees. There were many fees for things I’ve never even heard of. It’s a beautiful area and a beautiful resort. Just be aware everything comes at a cost. The other thing I didn’t love was the musty smell in the room. We hosted my daughter’s bridal shower at this location and it was lovely and they did a wonderful job. We hadn’t stayed at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, but I was not as impressed as I was the day of the bridal shower in 2022. His staff was very nice and everyone we encountered was polite and welcoming.

This property has everything you need to enjoy a weekend getaway! Golf course was fun, pool was great, food was amazing, staff was so welcoming and engaging. We loved it, thank you!

Piping issue, knocking in the walls all night, couldn’t sleep due to while pipes and wall, knocking all night reported it, and they also told me other customers complain about the same issues

My four-night stay at Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego was outstanding. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond. The accommodations were beautifully appointed, comfortable, and spotless, making it a great base for my business trip. The grounds are impeccably maintained, like a private oasis. And the food at the on-site restaurant? Fantastic! I enjoyed every dish. I highly recommend Rancho Bernardo Inn for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in San Diego.

I stayed at the RB Inn four years ago for a wedding and had a truly world-class experience, so I was excited to return for a night while attending family events in San Diego. Unfortunately, my partner and I encountered a less-than-stellar check-in experience this time around. Thankfully, Front Office Supervisor Jasmine stepped in and quickly resolved the situation with professionalism, care, and efficiency. Jasmine took the time to listen to our concerns, and she not only addressed them but exceeded our expectations. This level of service is exactly why I will continue to return to the RB Inn and confidently recommend it to others visiting San Diego. Thank you, Jasmine, for turning our stay around and reminding us why we enjoyed this hotel so much in the first place.
