Outstanding Wedding Venue
The Rancho Bernardo Inn far exceeded our expectations for our daughter's wedding weekend of events. Lindsi Linero, our event sales manager, was so informative and helpful in guiding us through the process. The food and beverage staff were so professional for our sit-down dinner at the reception. We really appreciated that. We chose the Santiago Courtyard for the small reception of 60 people. This location was perfect for a small wedding. We had many out-of-town guests who commented on how attentive the staff and servers were throughout their weekend stay. The food was top notch. We are so pleased with having chosen the Rancho Bernardo Inn for our daughter's wedding. Maria and Chuck K.

Perfect weekend
We did it all in great style thanks to this resort. We played golf and it was spectacular. I had a massage and it was divine with the exception of the spa pool was not warm so my swim was cut so short, burrr. Too bad, was so excited to swim but burrrrr! . Dinners were grand in thier fabulous Veranda and Carter stands out to me from the weekend. He was the busboy and we thought he was the waiter as he was on the job every second. Wow, helpful all the time, adjusted the heater so fast, anything we needed he was on the spot with help . He is truly someone to keep you eye on, he is going places. GREAT customer service ... A+++. Our room was so wonderful on the golf course. It was heaven. Thank you for a perfect weekend. We will be back and hopefully soon.

Romantic getaway
Their couples packages at the spa and for the room were amazing and created a memorable weekend for us. Highly recommend.

Not worth the price for business trips
While the property has potential, the guest experience is currently undermined by transparency issues and poor maintenance. I found the placement of 'non-complimentary' notices for in-room water to be intentionally obscured, which feels more like a 'gotcha' than a service. Additionally, the $15 breakfast credit is functionally useless given the menu pricing, and the gym facilities are neglected. Specifically the treadmills can’t detect the presence of a person on them and you have to tap a notice on the screen (while running) every minute to prevent them from stopping. Between the confusing layout and the persistent moldy odor in the Gardens building, the stay felt like a series of 'smoke and mirrors' that didn’t justify the price point.

Rancho Bernardo is one of the most enchanting inns in the U.S. The fountains are well worth the attention they command in artwork. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable beyond belief. Absolutely love this piece of heaven.
