Good overall experience. Good accommodation needs consistency in their delivery of customer services. Will not go back for a holiday. I was there for a medical course. The main rest was very noisy and few servers. Not the experience they promote. The Verenda rest has a very nice view good sleep experience

The resort is amazingly beautiful. It is also huge (whew, you work out getting to the gym). The food was a quite salty for my taste, especially the meats. So maybe if you stick with vegetarian it would be more palatable? The location is great if you don't want to visit San Diego. Keep in mind it's a 30 min drive or so to get to downtown San Diego; if you go when there's no traffic. Overall, if you want a remote, serene vacation with a spa, golf, tennis courts and amazing staff -- this is the place.

Quite a resort /complex with many different buildings and a golf course next door. Beautiful garden all over and spacious rooms and bathroom with separate bath and douch (only downside the room was close to an outlet generated some noise early in the morning) Great Breakfast at Veranda Restaurant (outside terrace has great view ) with many choices and friendly staff serving coffee and orange juice. Guest are mix of business and leisure as far I could judge. Definitely enjoyed stay in Rancho Bernardo. Price/value: Good , Sleep Quality Good, Service; Very Good

I wouldn't have found this place on my own, but had a 3 day meeting there. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing stay. Room was HUGE with king bed, desk, entertainment center, two armchairs and enough floor space that we literally danced comfortably in the room one night. Location is out of the way on the extreme north of San Diego (really more like Escondido). Grounds meticulously kept up, rooms are super clean, staff very friendly, and helpful. The whole resort has a quiet relaxed feel about it that only comes with a staff that is working very hard at their jobs. Food provided at conference was excellent. Really no complaints with the stay except that AVANT, one of the restaurants, was noisy, and ridiculously overpriced. Had better meals with much better value at a couple of restaurants nearby.

Staff was helpful, friendly, professional and went the extra step to provide services. Catering was very good and staff support excellent. Facilities pretty, clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my time there even though it was for a conference.
