Great experience!
Fantastic location at the beach! Room was modern and the bed was super comfortable. Walking distance to everything. 2nd floor outside deck is a great place to watch sunsets. Will come back!

Tower 23 is the best
I get to stay at Tower 23 a couple/few times a year, and it never disappoints. It's one of the best beach hotels anywhere, and though I'm usually in San Diego for work, the hotel and its staff make it seem more like a working vacation. On my most recent visit (Sept. '25), Natalia, Marta, and Tony kept up the great service. Looking forward to my next trip to SD!

We had another absolutely wonderful stay at Tower 23. This was our third year visiting, and everything was, once again, excellent. The location is perfect, the rooms are pristine, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. From the moment we arrive, we feel so welcome and relaxed. The beautiful ocean views, the amazing food at JRDN, and the overall energy ocean vibe make it the perfect place to unwind. Thank you for another unforgettable experience. It truly feels like our home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our fourth visit!❤️

Perfect Vacation!
This was our 2nd time staying at Tower23. We came back because we were so impressed after the first visit. Our room was perfectly located and appointed. The front desk staff (shout out to Steve!) were so nice and attentive. The valet staff were also engaging and helpful. Another benefit was the delicious food and friendly bar staff at JRDN. Thank you! We will be back!

Outstanding location facing the ocean in an old beach suburb of San Diego. Beautiful setting and clean contemporary design to establish a new standard for the city. Impeccable rooms atop a fine restaurant and service is hip, attentive and aware. I lose myself every time I stay. A highlight of my travels.
