Tower23 Hotel

We booked here based on how it appeared online and the location and views. All these were perfect, with smart decor, nice bar and restaurant and really super staff. The views from our Ocean Front room were perfect from the nice little balcony. There were some really poor elements to the bedroom, which would probably stop us returning. The first was that the air conditioning was ridiculously loud, not just too loud to sleep but too loud to tolerate when in the room at all. Fortunate the evening weather was cool, and on the top floor we felt just OK to leave the patio doors open overnight. We didn’t have the best sleep despite that as the bed wasn’t too comfortable. Strangely there was only a bedside table on one side, so where was I to put glasses, a glass of water and phone for an alarm clock? The bathroom was nice other than the shower was over the bath, and a clingy curtain not a screen. Made me think that whoever did the design was looking for form, and not thinking of the guest experience of using the room and sleeping. The air conditioning was just so loud, it cannot have been missed by housekeeping or maintenance. Made the stay a real mixed bag, and if we were in the area again we would happily use the bar and restaurant. We wouldn’t, or couldn’t sleep here. With the details sorted this would be a great hotel, but at the cost this should have already been sorted.

My wife and I recently returned to Tower23 to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and once again it reminded us why we keep coming back. From the beautiful beachfront location to the relaxing atmosphere, every visit feels special. One of our favorite traditions is having dinner at JRDN, and the steaks never disappoint. The food, service, and oceanfront setting make every meal memorable and are a highlight of our stay. The hotel is consistently clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, and the staff always makes us feel like valued guests. It’s clear that everyone takes pride in creating a great experience. Tower23 has become one of our favorite places to celebrate life’s special occasions, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for helping make our 25th anniversary another wonderful memory!

Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location. A little pricier than what I usually pay,, but it was well worth it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great people watching and beach nearly at your doorstep.

I had a wonderful stay at Tower 23 and would absolutely return. The room was quiet, modern, and beautifully updated. One of my favorite features was the slider that opened directly to the shared courtyard, along with the incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. Being able to open the door and hear the waves from my room was such a relaxing and memorable experience. The location is truly unbeatable. The hotel is just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance of Crystal Pier, restaurants, and shops. I loved the convenience of being able to walk to so many places without needing a car, while still having a peaceful and quiet room. Despite being close to everything, the hotel was incredibly relaxing, and I slept very well during my stay. The staff was also very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my visit. There are a few areas where the property could use some attention. The carpet in the room needs a deep cleaning or replacement. After returning from the beach, I wiped up some sand from my flip flops and the towel turned black from the dirt on the carpet. Additionally, some of the outdoor patio furniture has seen better days and could benefit from a thorough cleaning or refresh, especially the couch near the firepit, which had visible bird droppings on it. I also found the mattress to be a little firmer than my personal preference, although I recognize mattress comfort is subjective. Overall, the convenience, location, ocean views, updated design, and excellent staff made this a fantastic stay. The combination of being right on the beach while still having a quiet, comfortable place to relax is what makes Tower 23 special. I will definitely be back!
