Reviews for The Marker San Francisco
Simply a treat to stay @ this fine hotel situated just on the out skirts of Union Square. The decor is incredibly pleasing, the service is top notch and the overall ambiance makes for a wonderful traveling experience. This is my Hotel when traveling to San Francisco for pleasure or business.
Please mention your check out time when we do check in and say about the late fee. And notify them your hotel is not allowed for a late check out. Also, I have a very terrible experience. The cleaning service kept knocking my door for at least 5 to 6 times and disturbing my rest for the all morning. Plus, I did hang the sign 'do not disturb'. They even called my room number asked me about leaving time and said that there will be a charge and etc. if you check out late. I will never stay at your hotel and recommend to anyone. I didn't feel that I was welcomed at all. I understand your duty. But I paid to stay before noon. Can you please leave me alone and have a nice rest? I never have this kind of experience at any hotel before. Second, it is so noisy for the second morning. The cleaning service talks loud and always knocks doors not only yours. I didn't have rest at all. The wifi is bad too. It isn't so hard to watch anything. When I called the front desk, they kinda said like that's your only option, so deal with it. This hotel service is not worth this price at all. Please pick other hotel if you would like to have a good sleep quality and enjoy a nice service. You can use this price to find other much better hotel. When you leave, you have to pay for the 25 dollars meaningless Amenity Fee. For that fee, you even have no idea what are you paying for.

All around great stay. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy in spots but hotel and staff are top notch. Some great places to dine locally as well. I'd certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high end yet down to earth experience in San Francisco.

Hotel was average. Bed was in comfort as were overstuffed pillows. Suggest asking guests if ok with pet friendly rooms. Area was sketchy and safety was a concern. Catered lunches were good but breakfast needs improvement.

This hotel was everything we expected, clean, modern, well maintained and the staff was excellent! The amenities fee includes great perks , like bike rentals and wine tasting. Close to stores, theatres, a variety of restaurants, BART and cable cars. A cozy hotel in the middle of San Francisco.
