I have now stayed at The White Swan three times and it is my absolute favorite hotel. The staff is welcoming and kind, the breakfast is yummy and the coffee is good!! They stock the fridge with free water!! The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and the whole atmosphere is just lovely. Lots of places nearby to walk to and eat at. Don’t miss Del Popolo, next door!! I will stay there every time I’m in San Francisco!!

Simple the best place to stay in San Francisco! Great location, kind service, nice and clean rooms. The breakfast is good, even there is a free of charge afternoon wine&cheese offer. Reception very helpfull, we enjoyed very much our stay here! Thank you!

We asked for a quiet room, inside, on the top floor. The room was very comfortable and all staff, front office, housekeeping, and breakfast room support were all excellent. The inn is in a safe location in San Francisco with easy access to public transportation, close proximity to Chinatown, Nobb Hill, and numerous attractions. Good restaurants within walking distance.

Funky US vision of what Britain was like in the 60s makes for a fun theme. Great staff, excellent rooms, relaxed vibe and handy location. The Breakfast is a bit thin on choices but that's the only complaint I'd have. Receptionist loaned me her umbrella when I was heading out into the rain - just one example of kindness and empathy. The happy hour is a very cool twist of hospitality and gave staying there a nice community feel. 5 stars would stay again.
