Decent stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Stayed here twice, pre and post tour. Hotel is a large business/tourist hotel across the road from a mall. There is a hotel courtesy car to drop you off at the mall but it is a short 10 minutes walk and not needed unless you have mobility issues. The room was comfortable and clean though missing a hair dryer which is a “disaster” for ladies after washing one’s hair and no dryer to be seen. Took about 90 minutes for one to be delivered to the room by which time I had flat, air dry hair. No big deal in the scheme of things. On our return visit the AC was really loud all through the night but maintenance did fix it the next morning. Much appreciated. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant at the hotel - tasty pasta. The pool area looked very nice but we didn’t have any time to enjoy it. The bar area is really just the hotel lobby and lacks any ambience. Overall, a decent hotel for a night or two.

Not a Pleasant stay.

Not a very nice and friendly people in this IHG. No bellboys to help with the bags. LESTER/ANDERA are rude people for being working at the front desk. It feels like not InterCon this hotel is more like Holiday Inn Express vibes experience, not a family friendly, very small room/single beds quite smelly room. Breakfast is ok but quite dirty all over the restaurant. Club lounge not quite as any other club lounge. Very noisy lobby during the night, fire alarms go on during the night, doors banging every time people go in/out from their rooms. Overall not a very pleasant experience in this InterCon.

Great hotel

Visited this hotel for a conference, and had a great stay. The room was large, nicely decorated, and with many amenities. The staff was also great, and was there to answer any questions or give any tips about activities outside the hotel. The location was perfect, just right across multiplaza with many restaurant options and entertainment. The only downside was the breakfast buffet, although it was great, I found it a bit overpriced. The nightly entertainment was also a plus, with live music until late evening. Overall this is a great, high-end hotel that will offer you an amazing stay.

Stop Over Before Heading to the Beach

Very nice place to stay(Airbnb). We got a two bedroom place on the 6th floor. Very modern look to the place we stayed. A small kitchen, two bedrooms and a small bathroom. The only down side was no air conditioning to cool it down. The sun shines right on this place and made it hard to get the temperature down at night. Other than that, this is a very nice place. We were here the night of their charity soccer match at the stadium! You could feel and hear the excitement from here. We had a wonderful vantage point of the fireworks!

Great location. Courteous staff. May be on decline.

Good enough establishment. Looks like it's had it's hey day though and may be on decline. Rooms and linens were clean. Bath provisions amazing quality!! Food at restaurant decent (only tried the market restaurant). So why 3 stars you ask? Would like to give 3.5 stars but no option. Why deduct stars? For a hotel of this caliber, gym was atrocious. They simply converted two separate meeting rooms to makeshift gyms. Equipment also afterthought. I know, how vain of me, but you can tell a lot about a place by how much attention they pay to detail. Maybe they were renovating the actual gym but no one suggested that. Staff courteous but not necessarily warm. Would I stay again, solo yes. Gets join don't for quick business trip and location great. Would not stay with family.
