Reviews for Real InterContinental Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall
It is the mark of a professionally run hotel when they sort issues quickly and satisfactorily. There are a number of incidents but the team took ownership and made our stay a good one. Many thanks. Recommended.

After a long trip, we came back on the last night and stayed here. It was exactly what our body needed. Worth the expensive price when you've spent the last week exhausting your body. Staff is professional and courteous and we didn't have any issues with any of our requests. Beds, pillows, rooms are great. The kind of bed that once you go into you don't want to get out of. We found ourselves forcing each other to get up and get our day started. Spa Services were great, we used them all and they were decent. The hot tub is in the pool area and not close to the spa area so that was kind of a bummer, but otherwise good. We had steak in the steak joint on site and it was really really good. Overpriced, only if you think the steak was not worth the price and for the three of us it was. Anyway a great resting stop on any adventure, great way to pamper yourself for the next leg of your journey.

This hotel is OK for business; some attractive features include: (1) generally well-appointed rooms (nice big TV screens but rather limited selection of channels - only 2 English language ones); (2) very comfortable beds; (3) excellent WiFi (free). Downsides: a surprisingly poor service attitude that appears to prevail from front desk reception right through to the restaurants. Pool is OK for splashing around but unfortunately not for any serious swimming; also, limited pool deck area (given the location in the tropics). Location is absolutely nothing to write home about - it is in a massively built-up area surrounded by motor expressways. Despite all this, this hotel is quite pricey; I definitely recommend checking out alternatives.
its a very public place! while you are at the pool, everyone(I mean everyone, people that is not even staying at the hotel have access to the pool area. The restaurants are open to anyone and they are facing the pool/spa/gym, so if you want to have privacy this is not the correct hotel for you. The food in the restaurants are expensive and the food doesnt worth it, I mean is good but not for that price.
My only complaint is that the hot tub didn't work half of the time. It was cold and dirty. The rest of the stay was great. The staff were amazing. The food was great. Very decent price. I would stay again but would want them to apy more attention to the pool area. They ran out of towels once and I had to sprint ot the room wet.
