Fishing Adventure

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

Nice Hotel ! We stayed 2 weeks in an ocean view room and awoke every morning to witness a remarkable sunrise. And then a great breakfast thanks to the entire breakfast team which did a great job keeping us topped up with coffee and ensuring all our wants and needs. The pool deck area is nice as well thanks to Roberto and Alberto. There is a small towel game occurring every morning but only along the back adult only pool. This hotel has great Whale watching and we saw dozens of whales every day. My partner and I travel the world catching trophy size fish which was why we went to Cabo in the first place. No disappointment whatsoever as the sea of Cortez gave us a beautiful 300 lb Black Marlin and some beautiful Dorado (Mahi Mahi). We brought a small quantity of both species back to the Hotel and after signing a disclaimer had the fish cooked and presented to us at the Italian in restaurant. Thank you to the chefs and all personnel associated with that meal!! A Special thank you please to Guadalope for putting up with my rather poor Spanish. Guadalupe works hard for the Hotel! She speaks the best English of all staff she is a true asset to you and I hope you treat her accordingly! Alejandra and Cecilia deserve special mention and Cynthia as well! I recommend this Hotel and will return!

A nice vacation spot for a more relaxed experience

Orlando and Edgar in the sushi restaurant were awesome! Two hard working guys! Love the location and the staff are friendly. The hotel is a bit dated but if you’re getting a good deal on the trip you can’t go wrong. It’s not too lively of a crowd that frequents it but that means a nice chill spot. The light house club provides a cool drink spot at night also.

Beach yoga with Arturo

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

If you want beautiful, meaningful start to your day, don't miss beach yoga. Arturo is passionate about helping you connect your mind and body. I always leave feeling better than when I arrive and I will miss his big smile, friendly attitude, and helpful stretches when I return home. I'm so grateful to have met him and that this program exists at the Lighthouse. I can't wait to return and participate again.

Beautiful but lively

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The resort itself is beautiful, ocean is a nice blue but you can’t swim in it. Which was a big disappointment for me and my family. We did however see a few people in the beach at times. I’m guessing they were very strong swimmers/experienced with those waters. The atmosphere was quite lively, not child friendly and on the inappropriate side in my opinion. But I’m not their target audience. More geared for party goers. Our room was clean and functional. I thought the food was great. But I’m not a picky eater. The Mexican specialties they served at the buffet was delicious. Even my family agreed and they’re more selective with what they eat. Something they could improve on is their wifi - it’s awful. I pretty much used my data the whole time. And bring US or Mexican money because they don’t do any currency exchange there, contrary to what trip advisor listed in their amenities. We learned the hard way. Overall I think the resort was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful.
