Been coming to this resort for over 15 years. On this March 2026 (10 day trip) a few things have made us want to move to newer resorts because there are many newer resorts up the road. And we get that prices have gone up everywhere but this one if way off. 1. Rooms starting to feel little run down/mattresses are now uncomfortably flat/metal springs hurt back after few nights. Showers are a bit moldy, furniture a bit scuffed up. Housekeeping cant seem to quite keep up and if you miss your cleaning time ( which is usually later in day when you are getting in from pool/getting ready for dinner) you won't get service and you can get repeatedly skipped, have to call for towels/try to schedule cleaning even after being at pool 9 to 4. 2. Spa prices have gone up and staff has to sell you lots of extra add ons. Had a few treatments each in range of $400. On top of these prices an automatic 18% service fee will be added which is supposed to be the tip but staff asks you to tip more for good service which you do get but after multiple add ons price goes too high for quality of service/spa. 3. The few restaurants, poolside bar and food are expensive. $250 was average for couple margaritas and tacos for 2 and $400 for simple dinner with a basic bottle of chardonnay. There are now extra tourist taxes on food over $28 and again the staff requests for additional tip above the 18% service fee they auto add for all food service. Long story short, used to be worth it at lower price points but better does exist now in this price range. This resort had a good thing going but have now pushed the envelope on prices. Restaurants were dead each night, many people complaining (even staff). Hopefully they figure this out or many loyal vacationers are headed elsewhere if they haven't already.

We have been coming to Cabo for several years. This year we got the whole family to come. We booked the 3 Bedroom Suite. AWESOME MEETING PLACE. Gorgeous views. Highly reccomend building 6/6th floor. Also gret view of rhe Sunrise each day. Pool service, make sure to set yourself up with Tomas. He goes above and beyond! And I dont think Ive met anyone as happy as him! Adjusting pillows, moving umbrellas he was so attentive. Talked to him each day and he became part of our family. We will remember him as he really made our vacation the BEST. Highly reccomend the breakfast burritos from the marketplace, they were yummy. A week in paradise when everyone at home told us NOT to come to Mexico....turned out to be a Vacation We will remember forever.

The service is always amazing and part of the reason why we return so often. Ruben the waiter, Pablo the pool attendant, and Carlos the pool attendant made our wedding party week so enjoyable and special and cared for. Thank you all!

We recently used Cabo Azul as our home base for our wedding week. We had a big group of about 90 people staying at the hotel together and we had an amazing time. The pools and swim-up bar are epic, and the staff is so friendly and took great care of us and our family and friends. Ruben the waiter, Carlos the pool attendant, and Pablo the pool attendant were incredible, remembering our names, greeting us every day, and making sure we and our guests had everything we needed to have the best time possible. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is stunning, and our room was beautiful. The staff of the hotel goes out of their way to make your trip so enjoyable. The location is perfect with restaurants across the street. All of them are excellent. Have good things to say about each one of the these restaurants . Food the pool is excellent . Pricey but very convenient for a meal at the pool. Loved the pool staff, they are fabulous. Tomas was just a wonderful person, constantly there to help. Usiel was also so helpful . Our morning started with coffee at the Starbucks in the hotel. The ladies that work there greeted us with a smile and they were just lovely. Especially Maria. Great way to start a day. We will miss Tomas and Usiel…. Being greeted every morning with a smile.

Cabo Azul was a beautiful resort. The premiere restaurant, Javier, was also excellent. We had spa services that were in a lovely setting and well executed. If you are looking to get out of the hustle bustle of Cabo San Lucas head up the coast to this exquisite resort.
