Beautiful Place to Unwind

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Bathrooms were also spacious; however the shower head had only 1 full spray setting, and rinsing out hair took some time. The mattress was also a bit saggy and seemed well-used, which was surprising for this type of resort. The rooms all had very nice balconies with tables. Even though we only had a mini fridge in our room, it was large enough to hold left overs and some groceries, as well as a nice sized freezer. The gym was also very well equipped, and the classes and activities were a nice benefit. We were surprised that there wasn't potable water available in the lobby at all times. If you were there at the right time during check ins, they walked around with small bottles of water; otherwise, you could only buy water. If you buy it on-site, be prepared to pay steep prices. The pools were gorgeous and the place has a beautiful view of the sea and a nice walking beach. Staff was also very nice and service was quick. Overall, a wonderful experience.

40th Anniversary Celebration snubbed by staff.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

My 40th wedding anniversary ruined by the staff of Cabo Azul. My husband and I are Hilton Diamond members. We worked hard to achieve this status. Cabo Azul made us wait an hour and half for our room after we checked in at 3:10. Cabo Azul then switched what was a booked oceanview room to a cigerette smelling pool side view next to the road. Larissa Ruiz, the supervisor, told us that we didn’t book the oceanview room. She also said there was no such oceanview rooms at this resort. When I showed her proof. She still refused to accommodate or even compensate their error. I contacted Hilton Honors to see what could be done as our 849,000 points were taken for lower tier room. They recorded that in fact I was to be in a oceanview room. They were kind enough to give me the difference of rooms back to me. This not how you treat valued customers who are choosing to spend their milestone with your resort. On top of all that not one person said Happy Anniversary. Your staff is lacking the skills to acknowledge their guest who are celebrating something special like 40 years of marriage. I will not be returning to this resort and will not be staying at any Vacation Club facilities ever again. Hilton Vacation Club is going to ruin the great name of Hilton. I love the Hilton name as they have always been very good to my family but this was sn experience I dreamed of only to have it destoyed by a resort who doesn’t know how to show empathy or honor a person’s booking. Shame on you.

Great resort!

This is our 3rd annual trip to Cabo Azul. It’s one of our favorite hotels in San Jose Del Cabo. The location is great. Not too far from the airport and super close to downtown which makes it easy to uber in for dinner and drinks. The aesthetic of the resort is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The food at the hotel and pool is amazing, we’ve tried everything from pizza to nachos to fish tacos and poke bowls…it’s all fantastic. Alan at the pool is super friendly and takes great care of you. He’s very attentive and happy to help. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

Wonderful experience at Cabo Azul Los Cabos

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This place is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed 4 nights in a 2 bedroom and 4 nights in a one bedroom, both with full kitchen. This was a bonus because both main restaurants are very expensive! Both rooms were stunning and super clean. Everyone was very friendly and spoke English. Braulio Chavez among many other employees were super friendly and helpful. We certainly want to return there!

Boring stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Nothing to do except lounge around pool. Our poolside room had absolutely no view-watched man in his undies in the morning🙁. Room and resort very clean. Food and drink expensive. It was so hot in November, everyone looked for shade. We were bored

Cabo Azul was a beautiful resort. The premiere restaurant, Javier, was also excellent. We had spa services that were in a lovely setting and well executed. If you are looking to get out of the hustle bustle of Cabo San Lucas head up the coast to this exquisite resort.
