We love Cabo Azul. It's the quality and service of the more expensive places like Palmilla, but without the price tag. The rooms are CLEAN!! We appreciate that very much. Beds in the room are comfortable and have super romantic lighting around the bed, which helps set the mood. Each room comes with a fridge and granite countertops for some food and beverages. The pool is amazing!! Three separate pools that are gorgeous. There is a taco guy there who makes the best tacos!! Pina coladas and tacos by the pool are our favorite thing to do. The chairs by the pool have a lot of padding so they are very comfortable. It's not like the flimsy lounge chairs that you get everywhere else in Mexico. These are substantial lounge chairs and very comfortable.

Excellent stay at an excellent resort. Flew into Cabo to explore the surf it had to offer. Luxurious and clean rooms. Shout out to Ms. Jennifer Franco who was absolutely the best. She's part of the hotel staff but most importantly a local surfer who has an extensive knowledge of area. Her hospitality and advice made my trip great. Ask her anything about surfing in Cabo and she ll point you in the right direction. Also grab a drink at the swim up pool bar!

One of my all time favorite hotels, it feels very much “Al Andalucía” with the Moroccan/Spanish themed dessert look, large infinity pools, lush landscaping, carved dark wood, brass fixtures, and fiery nighttime accents throughout. Pros Breathtakingly beautiful both inside the rooms and the grounds Very detail oriented staff who are meticulous about keeping it all well maintained Multiple beautiful infinity pools (I literally can’t even tell you how many) Super plush pool chairs and cabañas throughout Swim up bar with an awesome happy hour Did I mention the incredible staff? They all speak English too FYI Beautiful wood furniture in rooms, along with these fabulous light details Great showers Super comfy beds Mini fridge in room Safe in room Lots of pharmacies nearby Immediately in front of the hotel is a posh mall with fancy boutiques and food options Cons Food and booze (outside of happy hour) are pretty pricey Food is tasty and filling, but not great Drinks are good but also, not great You can’t swim in the ocean in front of the hotel ***One thing to note is the location. I loved that it was outside of town, but it does mean it is not a very walkable location. Especially if you want to be in the heart of crazy Cabo. It’s more of a chillaxing environment. Pro tip. Since the rooms have their own fridge, just go stock up on your own beer, water, and wine and drink that by the pool until happy hour.

Let me start off by saying I'm not a Diamond hotel member or a timeshare owner-I love this hotel! I was a little unsure of things once I realized that this was in San Jose del Cabo, not Cabo San Lucas, but we actually thought it was so much of a nicer, cleaner town and closer to the airport. Quick ride in to San Lucas. For those who are a little unsure of traveling to Mexico, the security at the hotel always took our room number and names and where we were going/when we were coming back. Then when the taxis would bring us back, they'd ask again our rooms/names. They are accounting for their guests to make sure they return safe. The rooms were gorgeous, every single food and drink we tried was fantastic, and the service was superb. They paid so much detail to the hotel-everything is perfect. I will 100% be returning to Cabo Azul.
