My sister and I just returned from our 10 day vacation to Cabo Azul. It was such a wonderful trip. We were treated like honored guests in every way. The resort is very clean and the grounds beautifully kept. Everyone including our favorite bellman, Angel, who showed us the best units to reserve next time, to the concierge, Leon, who made activity suggestions and reservations, to the most helpful pool attendant, Tomas, who made our time at the pool both relaxing and fun, made this the best vacation imaginable. We can hardly wait until our next trip to Cabo Azul.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the beachfront location and the peaceful vibe. Service was consistent throughout our stay, and everything felt well organized. It’s a great option if you’re looking to unwind in Los cabos.

While the resort is undeniably beautiful, guests should be aware of its excessive pricing and disappointing lack of accountability from management. I was charged over $35 for a double cappuccino, and when I raised concern, I was simply told that nothing could be done, an unacceptable response for such an unreasonable, exorbitant price. More concerning, my daughter became violently ill after eating a poke bowl by the pool, which appeared to cause food poisoning. When I reported this to staff, I was advised she could visit urgent care “at an additional fee”, but no effort was made to address the situation further - there was not even an offer to remove the charge for the meal that made her sick. Overall, the resort’s beauty is overshadowed by poor customer service and a lack of basic concern for guest well-being.

We had a wonderful six week stay at this beautiful and well located resort. We booked a pool view junior suite. It was a perfect spot to escape the cold temperatures back home. We love the amenities and activities. The Activities team is outstanding....Cesar, Arturo and Jose are great fitness instructors and just a lot of fun. All of the staff, from pool attendants, housekeeping and front desk are friendly and helpful. Situated on a walkable beach with whale sightings is an added bonus. Wonderful restaurants across the street or a short walk into downtown San Jose del Cabo make it a convenient location. Everything you need is a short walk or uber ride. We are already planning for 2027!

We are returning visitors to Cabo Azul. This time with our family of 10 including 4 grandchildren. The resort is one of our favorites. It is beautiful with friendly staff and good facilities for the kids. We always feel at home here. But like many other reviews by visitors who have been here multiple times for extended periods, we have noticed a significant increase in prices for food and beverages on property. Fortunately, there are work arounds with multiple options across the street. We probably spent 60-70 % less on property because of prices that are significantly overpriced. Sometimes, you just say it's convenient, for a $35 + hamburger ( cost, plus 18%,service, taxes and propina). We were celebrating our sons anniversary and daughter in laws birthday. The wonderful Sunday brunch at Javiers cost over$800 U S for our family. Up significantly from prior years. Will we come back to Cabo Azul, absolutely. It is still a great place.but we will be less likely to eat and drink here. Comparatively speaking, the cost vs quality is getting too high.

Cabo Azul was a beautiful resort. The premiere restaurant, Javier, was also excellent. We had spa services that were in a lovely setting and well executed. If you are looking to get out of the hustle bustle of Cabo San Lucas head up the coast to this exquisite resort.
