Cabo Azul Resort was one of the best places we have stayed in Cabo. We gave been to Cabo multiple times and everytime we go we stay at different properties (and have visited a couple others). Out of about 10 properties we have been to, Cabo Azul is in the top 3. CLEAN, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF, GOOD FOOD. There were a couple negatives though... Pool was a little too warm, which we thought it was the weather, but was told by staff that it was heated because there was complaints of cold water. Costs of items on resort were over priced (they knew the "tourists" would pay..)$15 for a hamburger, drinks were pricey too. Solution: Market and Walmart nearby and with refrigerators and full kitchens in most rooms, problems solved (bring insulated cups!). Lastly, we had a problem with the cot/folding bed we asked for (days in advance) they kept promising it was coming, then finally told methey didn't have one. Management made it right though with an upgrade and a very small fee. Like most places there were some problems (which is why the 4), but overall it was a very good place and we would consider going back again. BTW, GO TO "TORO GUERRO" FOR MARISCOS/ SEAFOOD...FRESH, GOOD, TONS OF CHOICES, BIG PLATES AND INEXPENSIVE!

Cabo Azul is the perfect venue for couples seeking an alternative to the San Lucas party scene. The comfort and amenities at the resort are the best in town. The cushioned lounge beds make the pool area as comfortable as the rooms themselves. The views are beautiful. The poolside food and drink service are high in quality. We have visited 3 times in 2 years and are never disappointed.

This was the first time that we have been to San Jose del Cabo and Cabo Azul. We are long-time Diamond Resort owners, but this was the first time that we had traveled outside the U.S. with our three sons. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the hotel staff was. Everyone was so willing to help us with advice on what to do in town and the best way to get to wherever we were going. But, most importantly, with three teenage sons, the Activities Staff were the real heroes on this vacation. Octavio, Daniel, Rene, and the rest of the crew took such great care of my kids. (I will apologize that I cannot remember everyone's name, but everyone on the Activities Staff deserves a shout out, as they all did such a wonderful job!) Several of them made an effort to seek out my kids to join in the various activities that they were sponsoring each day, especially Octavio. I also got to know Octavio on a more personal level and he definitely made an impression on me. What a genuinely nice, caring individual! In fact, every person that I met who was on the hotel staff, from the Check-in, Concierge, Bell Desk, Front Desk, Waiters, and Maids, were just really good people. It was such a pleasure staying there that we are definitely going to come back! -John Chichester, Phoenix, AZ

We stayed here and met some friends in February (just getting around to my review) but it was amazing. Lovely rooms, serene, and peaceful. Love the white linens and dark wood décor throughout. The location is perfect across the street from great restaurants and shops. A short walk in Los Cabos was a highlight with more beautiful shops and wonderful restaurants. We rented a car and drove into Cabo to get a chance to see everything there but I honestly liked Los Cabos much better. We went to a fantastic art show our last night there. Went on a great whale watching tour and saw a mother and baby whale. Food is all very fresh and healthy. We walked every day and night and felt very safe. I want to retire here! So relaxing and refreshing.

We had a great anniversary weekend at the hotel. Our suite was very accomodating with a balcony (great for morning coffee and evening drinks) facing the pools, and a great lounge area beside the sleeping area. The food was amazing, and we got a complimentary cake from the staff ;) which was a nice detail. Would go back for more anniversary weekends without a doubt.
