Love Ruben at the Pool

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 13 hours ago

We love Cabo Azul and it’s become a home away from home. Such a simple classy resort with incredible service - I mean Javier’s downstairs, c’mon! We’ve come back each year for Ruben at the pool in particular. He’s such a joy and takes such good care of us. Top tier across the board

A must stay resort

Cabol Azul exceeded our expectations. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well appointed. We had a full kitchen which allowed us to eat breakfast and lunch or dinner in our room. The pool area, and service there are incredible. The pool attendants are attentive but not pushy. Their willingness to adjust the pool umbrellas saved us from the scorching sun. My wide and I were able to completely relax at the beachside pool. The breezes and shade allowed us to spend all day by the pool. We expect o return here int he future.

Cabo Azul Los Cabos

Cabo Azul Los Cabos Resort is definitely eye catching, and you will not be disappointed as you explore the property. From the beautiful architecture and various pools to the plenty of beachfront cabanas where you can sit back and enjoy the sunrise or sunset, the resort has a lot to offer. The rooms are very spacious, well maintained, have great A/C, and offer some amazing views. One quick tip when stepping out onto your patio, make sure you close the sliding door behind you. Otherwise, you may end up with a few unexpected lizard visitors. My only real downfall with this resort was the restaurant. The food prices are extremely high. I ordered two tacos that cost $32, and unfortunately, they were brought to me cold. When I mentioned it to my waiter, he simply said, “Oh, sorry,” and walked away. For $32, I would at least expect the food to be hot or properly reheated. That experience was pretty disappointing. My recommendation would be to venture across the street. There are plenty of restaurants nearby offering better food, service, quality, and much more reasonable prices. Overall, Cabo Azul is a beautiful resort with spacious accommodations, great amenities, and incredible views. I just recommend taking your dining experience off the property if you want better value for your money.

Almost perfect

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This hotel is really great but for a couple of things that are important to me. The hotel is beautiful, great pool situation with swim up bar and really excellent food for a pool bar. The service is really great in the entire hotel in the location is perfect. The only things that was an issue and perhaps it’s personal to me is the bed and the pillow were extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I woke up every morning with stiff backs, and I personally had a stiff neck from the lumpy pillows. I recommend bringing your own pillow, and possibly requesting a pillow top if you have even a slight back issue. Also, the room service was very limited, and the food was not good. Not even remotely similar to the other food in the hotel. Thirdly, bring your own shampoo and conditioner, it is the absolute worst. Other than these three issues, I highly recommend the hotel and will most probably come back just knowing to work around these things.

Cabo Azul was a beautiful resort. The premiere restaurant, Javier, was also excellent. We had spa services that were in a lovely setting and well executed. If you are looking to get out of the hustle bustle of Cabo San Lucas head up the coast to this exquisite resort.
