Our family just spent an incredible 11 days at Cabo Azul, and I’m already trying to figure out when we can go back. The resort itself is incredibly well taken care of and the location is perfect. There were tons of activities to keep my kids (14, 10) busy, and Hector, Daniel and Adrianna went above and beyond everyday to be sure they were having fun. We will be visiting again!

On our first trip to Mexico in the 1st week of Feb 2018, we stayed at Cabo Azul Resort and it was all great! First, Cabo Mexico was terrific - everyone was extremely friendly, costs were very economical and I felt safe (a fear of mine before getting there. The armed Federales who patrol the area were a visible sign of their efforts to maintain the safe zone in the Cabo area.) We stayed in San Jose del Cabo (highly recommended for a more casual atmosphere) and walked to / from the downtown center from the hotel that sits on the coast. We also traveled to Cabo San Lucas for whale watching excursions which again was highly enjoyable. (FYI - we did 2 trips with Whale Watch Cabo and we highly recommend them. Excellent experience whale watching (again our first time) due to the WWC biologist (Tania for both trips) and the boat captains (Julian & Jesus) - I'll be writing more about this under their review section) 1 caution is that we ran into people selling stuff (timeshares, boat rides, etc) everywhere including in the grocery store. (At the store, a woman approached us and we thought she worked at the grocery store but she did not. She tried to get us to go to a timeshare sales pitch!). For Cabo Azul Resort, it was fantastic. The whole facility, our suite, and the staff were top notch - we could not have been happier. The staff were all so friendly - no matter what they were doing they would stop to say hi, help us when needed and always made us feel welcomed. As an example, Big Carlos, a bell hop, when we asked about other room types at the resort we were interested in for our next visit (yes, we're definitely going back), gave us a personal tour showing us each one. Also, I was amazed at the maintenance of this place, which is the highest I have ever seen (I am an architect at a 2 million sf facility so I know the importance of maintenance). The resort is immaculate. I mentioned that we ate half of our meals in our suite (full kitchen) but the resort restaurants did all but 1 of our other meals. Flor de noche & Javier's were both excellent for the dinners and the breakfast that we ate at their establishments. We had to force ourselves to eat at a restaurant outside of the resort (which was also very good & reasonable too) just to try some of the other places. To top this all off, on our last full day, we saw a whale & her baby breaching off shore from the Cabo Azul Resort beach! (Photo attached for Lisa of Minnesota) Last, for those who like a good margarita that's not too sweet, I highly recommend the Cabo Azul Margarita. We enjoyed many at poolside & at our dinners! Enjoy

We were here last year and stopped to have a drive no at the outdoor bar. Had a blast and the staff couldn’t of been nicer. With that, we decided to stop in tonight, only to for d out the outdoor bar was closed, for good. We went to the bar at Javier’s and debated whether to stay or not. Realizing that it was Valentines Day, we decided to stay. Ate in the bar, staff was great. Food was wonderful. I had the fish of the day, Sea bass. Taste great , veggies were cooked perfectly, and portion size was perfect. Highly recommend when you go to Cabo!

We picked this resort to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we were certainly not disappointed. Fabulous resort, from our welcome at reception, our time with Cristina as our concierge to our beautiful room. There was a quietness to the atmosphere that contributed to a feeling of luxury. The staff work incredibly hard and it shows. everything was immaculate, from taking care of the pool area to giving us excellent service at both the poolside restaurant and while we were relaxing around the pool. It's an easy walk across the road to a few different restaurants and bars, a short ride to the Dolphin experience and we even managed to dive with a local operator out of the San Jose del Cabo Marina - EastCape Explorers.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to the hospitality masters: the two Hectors that work the pool area on a daily basis. Hector David and Hector Jesus (I believe those were the names). In addition, the entire activity staff that encouraged us to play volleyball and meet new people and really take advantage of all the resort has to offer. Amazing crew that made the experience unforgettable. Hector who worked the pool even went as far as to print a map for us for our day in town. Amazing, I can't say enough good things
