Just came back from Cabo Azul last night and we will be talking about our stay for time to come. It was marvelous and we could not get over how nice everyone was and how beautiful they kept of the entire hotel and pool area. Immaculate all the time and our stay was so lovely. We can't wait to return.

First the good….the hotel is stunning and so clean. The poolside server Mariana and pool attendant Ricardo are amazing, kind, and attentive. They deserve every bit of recognition and generosity that comes their way. On that same note, our room was impeccably taken care of by the cleaning staff. What bothered us on this trip was how we felt we were treated by a poolside supervisor about our water bottles. We understand not being able to bring our own food and beverages to the pool, so we bought a large bottle of water from our server and I filled my owala with it at the pool. The supervisor came over again to say this was not allowed. The whole experience of feeling over policed and watched while we are trying to relax just left a bad feeling for us, especially as we saw others with their own food and drinks at the pool. It left us feeling targeted and the opposite of relaxed. The food and drink policy needs to be reviewed to make it more friendly or more reasonably priced. Many places are both friendly and reasonable. For example, here a large bottle of water, 2 cans of local beer, and 2 happy hour pina coladas (2 for one) is just over $100 USD. We leave tomorrow, and while we would love to say we’d be back, we probably won’t because of the food and beverage program.

The staff, in particular Jonathan at the front desk and Tomas at the pool, are not very helpful or friendly. I just don’t like it when I know people are flat out lying to me about things. There are plenty of other better places to choose the Cabo area. I would avoid the Cabo Azul property.

Beautiful pools, beautiful rooms, excellent service, and good food. What more could you want on your vacation? Okay maybe it could be a little less pricey. But I felt like it was a luxury vacation so the high price tag was warranted.

Amazing property. They put a ton of work daily into details to keep the property spotless. We loved every minute of the time.

Cabo Azul was a beautiful resort. The premiere restaurant, Javier, was also excellent. We had spa services that were in a lovely setting and well executed. If you are looking to get out of the hustle bustle of Cabo San Lucas head up the coast to this exquisite resort.
