About the Hotel

John Steinbeck wrote, oethe very air here is miraculous, and the outlines of reality change with the moment” when describing the Baja peninsula in Mexico, home to the luxurious Casa Natalia. Indeed, the white sandy beaches, crystal blue waters, and tranquil grounds of the highly rated Casa Natalia hotel offer a breath of fresh air to even the most worldly of travelers. Come and explore the myriad fish that dwell in the coral reefs of the Sea of Cortez, the rich reds and yellows of the Baja dessert, the galleries and restaurants in colonial San Jose del Cabo, and the beaches and pools for a holiday to tempt all of your senses.

Reviews for Casa Natalia

A wonderful experience

When deciding to come to Cabo, we new we wanted to stay somewhere that felt like we were in Mexico. Casa Natalia is an absolute gem in the historic center of San Jose del Cabo. It is easily walkable to all of the main restaurants, galleries and shops. Even before we arrived, the hotel contacted us to inquire if we had any questions or needs for our stay and they were kind enough to have our room ready early. Entering the hotel is like entering an oasis. The center courtyard is filled with authentic Mexican art, palm trees and potted cactus. The room was lovely, and we truly felt we were in Mexico instead of in a hotel that you could find at any resort on the planet. The room was spacious, well appointed, the bed comfortable and the balcony was very private. Each and every staff member was friendly and courteous. My husband was lucky enough to catch some ahi tuna and the hotel saw to it that the chef at their restaurant Mi Cocina cooked us a fantastic meal the next evening. We had a perfect stay and would certainly come back on our next visit to Cabo.

Perfect getaway

Casa Natalia is one of a kind! We were looking for an adults only getaway but didn’t want an all-inclusive party scene and this nailed it! Perfect location, amazing staff, beautiful hotel with just the right touches, delicious food, and yummy drinks! I’m on the plane home and already missing it! We’ll definitely be back!

Loved this gem of a hotel.

What a gem of a quaint, but still modern clean hotel. The rooms are generously sized with great air conditioning a fans, plus a great little private patio/veranda for each room. The pool was beautiful, but we never got a chance to try it out. The location was ideal since it is part of a main plaza with lots of thing going on. Staff are all very welcome and helpful. We never had a noise problem, but there was one Saturday morning when we got up early for a morning walk and a rotc like group of very nice high school age kids were practicing for what looked like a marching band or gathering. We were up so it was fine, but I think it was around 7:00 am on a Saturday, so for hotel guests, it might have been too early for many of them. Breakfast was included with our room rate, and was nice. Limited selection with choice of juice, or mixed fresh fruit, and some egg dish and a little meat. Came with some toast, butter and jam. You can also purchase food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate dinner there one evening and it was very good. I had red chicken mole and it was delicious, but I would have like more sauce than the drizzled on sauce they had. The USA version is chicken, cooked with lots of sauce. They also had a great male singer with a beautiful voice who sang part of the day and evening. Lots of dining choices within walking distance. Getting a churro from the churro stand in the plaza is a must. Not sure when it opens, but we saw that a churro store is opening in the plaza. Probably fancier and more expensive. Part of our group stayed at another hotel and they said it was so noisy they couldn't sleep. We had such a great time. We stayed 4 nights with 3 nights dedicated to my daughter's wedding and festivities. I wish we had spent an extra night to stroll around and eat more delicious food.

We Love You casa Natalia!

I recently spent 5 nights at Casa Natalia and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The location, right on the Plaza in the heart of the art district is stellar! It is artfully appointed, every detail tended to from the welcome hibiscus drink to the room and courtyard design. I loved being there. A special thank you to Tina and Francisco who took such beautiful care of us during our stay! Tina recommended the seafood risotto and it was fantastic!!! Thank you Natalia and crew for the lovely and relaxing time.

Hip and Artsy Boutique Hotel in Old San Jose

Fun small hotel right on Plaza Mijares. Nice rooms and common areas. Great bar. Nice sunning/swimming area. No elevator in the original building so luggage up the steps. No on-site parking and a bit of a walk if you cannot access the pullout.
