Solitutde and sunsets in San Jose
This is a very beautiful peaceful area in San Jose del Cabo. Quite a nice change of scenery and pace compared to Cabo San Lucas where I have usually gone in the past. The resort is not massive and it's adults only which is lovely. The shuttle boat across the jetty is only a couple miutes and then you are at the beach club which is so relaxing and nice. The Pool Bar is also relaxing and nice with a long infinity pool looking out to the ocean and beaches, Both the beach club abd pool bar have a good food and drink menu. The restaurant is very good. Lots of fresh ingredients. We enjoyed Paella night on Wednesday night followed by a live Flamenco performance. Every night we enjoyed watching the sunset from the PoolBar deck. Lots of seats, loungers and day beds there.

we met some great folks at the El Ganzo, (servers) Hector, Anny, Dani, Jordan (front desk) erika, ale. especially Hector... even though we are older couple he treated us like family ! For sure will return

Rock star vibe and treatment at Hotel El Ganzo
Our 3 night stay at Hotel El Ganzo was a luxury experiance from the moment you arrive as staff provides you with cooling compresses and refreshing drinks. The 3 year old property is located at the ocean end of the large San Jose Del Cabo marina which is full of mega yachts and fishing boats. The resort fancies itself as a haven for artists, musicians and other creatives and the walls are full of impressive murals and other art pieces. There is a recording studio in the basement used by the famous guests. We ventured to the roof top pool which has a rock star vibe where a DJ was spinning discs and the charming waitress Montserrat answered all of our silliy questions. The resort has a beach club across the marina accessed by a launch which is great for swimmimg and beach combing. The rooms are comfortable, have great views and feature turn down service with treats from the poastry chef. A memorable stay which we plan to repeat.

Do yourself a favor.
Incredible stay made even better with the services of Montserrat at the rooftop pool. The staff overall was incredible. Let's not leave out the beach boys of Erik, Aaron and Engli. The people really do make the stay and the food helps too! We have been here before and will most definitely be coming back!
