Hotel El Ganzo

We were attending a wedding at the JW, but I had previously heard of El Ganzo, and prefer boutique hotels, so we decided to stay there. We enjoyed our stay here very much. I loved the decor, the hotel seemed well taken care of. The water jugs in the rooms were incredibly thoughtful considering you can't usually use tap water in mexico to brush your teeth. Our room was perfect. We could hear the sea lions in the mornings (but frustrating because we couldn't see them!) We were able to see a whale or two and flying sting rays from our room! The housekeeping staff was incredible and made sure we were well taken care of. Extra towels, anything we needed. I do think the actives do need to displayed a little more prominently as we didn't know about them until after we came back from dinner. The only real complaint I have was the service for breakfast was a little inconsistent. Our breakfast was included in our room, and some days we received the fruit platter (which was amazing), and some days we didn't. Some days our server was just MIA, some days they were very present. Sometimes I would have to flag someone down for things like milk and sugar, or a knife. The quiet pool was very serene and peaceful. It wasn't heated, but it was nice to sit by. The rooftop pool hot area was fantastic. The pool is not heated, so a little cool, so I mostly sat in the hot tub, which was amazing. The bar tenders are fabulous, the food at the pool bar was also really good. We meant to get over to the beach club and just never made it. We'll have to go next time. We will be back next year, and are bringing friends with us.

Love this place so much. If you are looking for shopping or big nightlife it’s not your spot. But if you are looking for a boutique hotel with amazing service and all the nicest amenities tucked away from the tourist areas, this is your place. I come here at least once a year for a week to revive my soul. All of the staff attends to every detail. Checking in is a delight. The rooftop pool has a great vibe, good food, drinks and fabulous service. The beach club is equally as wonderful. Saltycabo offers different boating options right from the marina. Not the least expensive place in Cabo, but definitely worth the price.

Cannot recommend staying at Hotel El Ganzo enough! It's close to all the Centro/farm restaurants but provides swimmable beach access and the most beautiful rooftop sunset views over the marina and mountains. It's also walking distance to a few coffee shops and restaurants and offers free parking. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make it a good stay. We loved the live music and will definitely keep an eye on their events calendar for another trip!

Meli was excellent!! Great spot to have a quiet drink and enjoy the view of the marina! We reallly loved the experience. We came ashore for a drink and found this place Meli was an excellent waitress. The whole staff were great and we all really enjoyed it.

Hospitality, space, and literally everything was 10/10 amazing. I’ve never met kinder hotel personnel. I didn’t want to leave. We extended our stay twice.
