We splurged for a harbor-view room. Facilities were great. Treated to a hot toddy upon arrival. Ate dinner in the restaurant the first night, which was very nice. Breakfast was free if you had the San Juan Classic (scrambled eggs, 2 bacon strips, a sausage link and one piece of toast; other options were at a 25% discount for hotel guests. Staff was friendly and remembered us from day to day. Have stayed here before and would stay there again.

We found the staff to be pleasant and responsive. The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy the town and the harbor. The food was excellent, and our stay was great! We would recommend this hotel and will be back very soon.

First visit to FHH. Bar area was busy when we arrived but restaurant was pretty empty. Nice decor, with a great view of the harbor. Friendly, informative staff. Limited off-season menu, but with enough variety to keep everyone happy. The food was delicious, with accompaniments which complimented the protein beautifully. Ate the lamb shank which was flavorful and tender. Pricing on the mid to high side, but fitting for the quality of food and service. Will definitely be back again.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend trip in December. The staff were all friendly, helpful and all-around awesome. The room was perfect with a great view. Breakfast was delicious, with a good brunch menu. We got one of the rooms with a view of the Harbor and I would recomend that to anyone else planning a stay here.

From the second we stepped into the Friday Harbor House, we felt pampered. Tom greeted us warmly and offered us a hot cider drink which tasted fantastic on a cold drizzly day. He answered all of our questions and helped us get settled into our lovely room. The room was cozy, modern, and extremely comfortable with a king bed, flat screen t.v., small refrigerator, fireplace that came on with the push of a button, and a beautiful view of the harbor. The bathroom was nice as well with a sunken jetted tub and separate shower area, and seemed to have been recently remodeled; everything was very crisp and clean. This is the type of place where you have a choice of pillow type, where they deliver tiny glass bottles of milk to go along with your coffee, where they include a complimentary tasty breakfast. They're just all about the details and making their guests feel as comfortable as possible. This is a special place and one of our favorite hotels we've ever stayed in. The location is fantastic, very close to the ferry landing and within walking distance of nice shopping, whale watching, and good restaurants. A friend wanted to have truffles and champagne delivered to us for a special occasion, and Tom went above and beyond to make that happen and surprise us which we really appreciated. Honestly we didn't want to leave! We really look forward to going back again someday, and hopefully soon, because our stay exceeded all expectations and was absolutely lovely.
