The harbor view rooms are the best in Friday Harbor. And the only thing better than the views, are the staff. The attention to detail, food and overall vibe make this the top pick.

Stayed here for a quick girls weekend and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The room was super cozy with a gas fireplace in the room. The evening we arrived it was rainy so the fireplace was a huge hit while we watched the sunset over the water from the windows. They offer complimentary snacks and beverages and have complimentary in room pour over coffee, tea and oatmeal that you can make with an in room tea kettle. Room was clean and spacious and the front desk staff was very helpful. An easy 5 stars for me!

I’ve stayed at many of the hotels in Friday Harbor over the years, and this is by far the best. The staff are amazing - so friendly and helpful! The rooms are gorgeous! We had a room with what they call a “partial view.” If you look at my pictures, you will see the most amazing view we had from our balcony! In the room there is a gas fireplace, jetted tub, huge tiled shower, amazing bath products, lush thick towels. The bed was so soft and comfortable - crisp, perfect sheets. They had snacks in the hall - sparking flavored waters, sparking juice, all kinds of chips and treats. In the room there is gurney tea and coffee and fancy oatmeal cups. We had room service and the food was fantastic! Really - there is nothing negative I can say about this hotel! This will be where we stay on all future trips to San Juan Island!

This was our first time to stay at Friday Harbor House and we're so glad did! it is directly overlooking Friday Harbor marina and great location for walking to restaurants and Kings Market or just strolling down by the marina. We booked a "partial view" room and, from the inside of the room you could partially see the marina and Friday harbor Bay, but when we stepped out on the balcony, we could see practically the entire marina and Bay. Fireplace in the bedroom / living area, separate jetted tub and shower - highly recommend Friday Harbor House. We'll definitely be coming back.

We visited Friday Harbor in the summer via boat and immediately said, we have to come back and stay. We wanted a location where we could walk around, dine, view art and take in the lovely boats and scenery. Friday Harbor House has it all. Comfortable rooms, loved the robes, coffee service, smart TV and great views. We really liked watching the ferries come in and go out. The front desk, management and restaurant staff were all exceptional. We highly recommend dining in the restaurant, order the chalupas and the house Chardonnay is a new favorite. We would come back again in a heartbeat.
