Arleen is the best!

Arleen at the Bagua Restaurant is the best! Went the extra mile and helped guests bring their food and other items inside when a quick little storm passed through. She is so friendly and helpful! She made our day!

5 Stars - Perfect Family Getaway!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We had the best family vacation at this resort! Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The property has multiple clean and well-maintained pools, and the private beach was beautiful—plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and space to relax. Beach service was great too! There were fun daily activities for both kids and adults, and the atmosphere stayed lively well into the evening (in a good way!). Our room—Beach Wing 913- was spotless and very comfortable with a great beach view from our balcony. Staff across the resort were friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. One thing we especially appreciated was the security. Staff checked for room keys regularly at the pool and beach areas, which we actually liked. As a parent, it gave me peace of mind knowing only guests were using the facilities. It’s surprising to see people leave negative reviews for that—it’s becoming the norm at many resorts, and frankly, it should be. I’d be more concerned if they didn’t check! Plus you have an option of a bracelet you can use as a room key instead of a card, which is super practical and made our stay so much easier. We also read some negative reviews about things like having to reserve chairs early at the pool. Honestly? That happens at every resort. It's not a reason to take off stars. Complaining about that or the fact that the pools supposedly close at 7 pm (10 pm for us!) or your water wasn’t hot enough seems pretty trivial when everything else is so well done. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat. We’re already recommending this place to friends and family. If you're looking for a clean, safe, fun, and family-friendly resort with great service and a perfect beachside location—this is it!

Very tired and rundown grounds.

This place is very tired. Our room wasn’t ready when we got here. We walked around the grounds and were not impressed so we cancelled reservation and left for another hotel. Hilton Honors Gold member.

Caribe Hilton - Simply Wonderful

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Caribe is simply wonderful for a host of reasons. Extremely convenient to many attractions like snorkeling, scuba diving, beach and swimming pool (all can be done at the hotel), not to mention nearby casinos, great restaurants (on site or within easy walking/Uber ride), and toys for kids to play / use while at the pool or beach, I’m not sure there is anything missing. Even have a basketball court, iguanas hanging out, nice gym/spa, cabanas, plenty of chairs/umbrellas at the pool and ocean etc etc. The staff is amazing at every touch point within the hotel, the open lobby area is so appropriate for PR, rooms were clean and in good condition with good air conditioning and water pressure - we were in Beach Wing 734 which had great views of the pool, beach and sunsets. For excursions, plan your own or use the excursions planning desk. We used Viator and Trip Advisor for trip guidance and recommendations. Uber, taxi, bikes, scooters and mopeds are readily accessible at or right next to the hotel. So is self parking should you rent a car. For Uber, usually wait no more than 2-3 mins and most rides cost between $5-$10!! Lyft is apparently coming to the island but was not available on my app during the trip. All vehicles were clean and drivers were friendly. Most speak English and Spanish. If you want to go far west or east, a rental car would definitely be helpful, but keep in mind the Caribe is so centrally located that most excursions offering transportation pick up very close to the hotel. For example, we did a rain forest tour for $50 (per person full day) + $5 Uber to pick up point. Very simple, very easy and amazing. We did visit the Sheraton hotel/casino, Embassy Suites/casino and Marriott casino/hotel. They are all nice but IMHO do not compare to Caribe location and amenities w two caveats. Marriott offers direct beach access to the main water, no cove, and Sheraton is connected to the T-Mobile center which is brand new w lots of restaurants and games. But both are less than a mile away or $5 Uber ride. We would not change a thing and will certainly return to Caribe. Last and most important, you can come here or PR and not have a Pina Colada and some form of Mofongo. Pretty sure we had quite a few - including the free Pina’s at the pool bar every day from 12-12:30. They were sample sized but good!

Disappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Disappointed! Spent two night here and I wished I had stayed at a different hotel. Paint was peeling off the bathroom wall, there was a moldy banana in the mini-fridge and no soap in the bathroom. Yes, minor inconveniences but not what one would expect from Hilton. The pool grounds are pretty but everywhere you walk there is trash; cigarette butts, plastic straws, etc. and these are not items that are washed up on shore. Overall, just simply disappointing and not worth what I paid to stay.
