Condado Vanderbilt Hotel

It was a very nice hotel, the location is good in relation to some of the major attractions. The rooms are nice, staff very friendly, and plenty of food options right on sight. The pool gets crowded so get there early. It’s a beautiful view of the ocean. Overall the Condado was a great place for a quick weekend getaways

Essentially everything I expected as far as quality, value, lack of direct beach access (but can visit La Concha beach next door as part of your stay). I chose this location because of walking distance to a strip on Ashford Avenue with some restaurants and essential stores. The best part is that the staff went above and beyond. They were so kind, helpful, patient, and when I had a request due to some issues, they truly treated me like a Queen! Would highly recommend and come back agqin.

This hotel was such a treat in Condado! This was our first trip to PR and we didn’t know what to expect from San Juan. We were glad this was our first landing on the island. We asked for an upgrade at check-in and were able to book a corner suite for extra. So glad we did, it was a fabulous room. We enjoyed the pool and the onsite restaurants as well. Definitely check out Tacos and Tequila, amazing churrasco! Our suite came with a “butler,” but it didn’t prove to be super useful. The location is great. Staff is wonderful. Beach is rocky and small but that’s to be expected. Softest sheets and towels, nice shower amenities. We will be back!

I really hate to give this hotel a 4.5 rating. The staff is, for the most part, exceptional. We were there for an event and the lady handling our table was absolutely fantastic. The hotel smells great and is well located. I am deducting .5 points because of the following reasons: 1. Often, there is only 1 person working at the front desk. I arrived in a party with 11 other guests. Each guest takes around 4 minutes to check in. It took about 45 minutes to get our room. Also, our bracelets were not working so we had to come down to the front desk. There were 5 people ahead of us checking in. 2. Often, housekeeping would forget to replace things. Day 1: Snacks. Day 2. Shampoo Day 3., Towels. When we called, housekeeping was quick to deliver what was missed. A special shout out to the butler Delphine. He was wonderful! Sent us a treat with his compliments.

This hotel exudes luxury. First class service and extremely attentive staff. Greeted with a glass of champagne which was wonderful. The variety of restaurants at the hotel is such a plus and the 1919 Michelin restaurant was top class from all the food and service. We loved the tacos and tequila for more casual dining. Buffet breakfast excellent. Pools beautiful and in a great setting by the ocean . Room was large , clean and well furnished, beautiful balcony. Good location and very easy to get Uber rides to San Juan and airport. Concierge st the hotel extremely helpful . Definitely would love to come back !
