A good hotel at a great location and view. Need to some upkeeping to become great again. A major disappointment, which is a widespread practice among many of the old hotels, there was no air conditioning available, and the excuse is that they have not switched from winter to summer mode. We were moved to a room with better ventilation and it became bearable, but still unacceptable.

Excellent Italian Riviera grand hotel! Very friendly and attentive staff, lovely rooms that are extremely well appointed. Good bed linen and comfortable bed. Rooms with sea view have a wonderful full sea view. The pool and pool staff are great and if you want to spend time on the beach it is only a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommended.

Just an beautiful hotel, the staff is very polite and helpful, breakfast delicious and a lot to choose from. Perfect location, just a short stroll to the pedestrian zone, where you find nice restaurants and cafes to enjoy a " happy hour". The. Rooms are nice and clean, but a little bit dated...

What a wonderful surprise and fabulous stay. Everything was perfect. Friendly, cheerful staff from the moment we arrived to check out. The food was very good. The junior suite was full of character, comfortable bed and a fabulous marble bathroom. The decor was eye popping throughout. The property was built in the 1850's and contained many details and decor from that period along with a 1960's feel. As well with modern finishes. A perfect coordination of design elements. It felt so grand! You will find a fine dining restaurant, a garden area for drinks and snacks, a piano bar, card room (as in the old days), library, spa and it goes on! Of course not to miss the pool area and magnificent view of the Mediterranean. I could gaze on that view with my drink all day! The hotel was minutes from shopping and restaurants or bistros. We will return. Thank you to all the staff. Well done!
