Located at Lake Atitlán Riviera! Secluded jewel of the lake! The one and only luxurious hotel around the lake. Setting outstanding, decoration absolutely gorgeous, rooms are one of a kind, all with terrace, decorated with art pieces and many ceramics and superb textiles from the area. Fine toiletries and linens. Spa services from out of this world, ask for Alicia, she will give you a heavenly and relaxing massage! The food is great. From there you can tour the whole area, including the boat rides that take you to the lake towns. Helicopter rides can be arranged to many places. Highly recommended! Five stars plus enchanting 7 rooms and one villa hotel in Lake Atitlàn. Casa Palopó Hotel Boutique is the best! Thank you!

We are a 76-year-old Australian couple who came on a five-day trip to Guatemala based on the recommendation and photos of a friend. We were a bit apprehensive given the warning on travel advisory websites. We need not have worried. Because of excellent tour guides, we were complexly safe. In Antigua, we could safely walk the streets at night alone. Our advice is go there, it is magic. A special recommendation is for Casa Palopó a unique and exclusive 7 room hotel near the village of Santa Catarina Palopó, on the shores of Lake Atitlán. It can claim to be one of the best hotels in the world. Beautiful location overlooking the Lake and volcanoes, spacious rooms with brilliant designs and views. Thoughtful staff and a very good restaurant. Their Foie Gras was to die for! Two days is all you need and one must do the Lake tour. You will not regret it

This was honestly a trip of a lifetime experience staying at Casa Palopo. We arrived by boat, the views of the lake and volcano were incredible. The food was out of this world dreamy, the wine superb. We walked to local villages exploring in the day, sunbathed by the pool looking out at the lake and volcano, yoga on the lawn, took boat trips...so much to see and do. The room was gorgeous and our view amazing. It was all so wonderful, we even got a helicopter from there back to Guatemala city. Its expensive compared to anywhere else in Guatemala but the service, luxury and resort ensure you see the money is well spent.

My wife and I stayed here last week and loved it. Great little boutique hotel with a gorgeous setting on Lake Atitlan. There are only 5-6 rooms and one 3-bedroom villa. Open air restaurant overlooks the lake with volcano views, and a nice lounge area with fireplace inside. They even have a nice pool & deck area on hot days. Great place, perfect for couples.
