Eat your heart out
Ate at the newly minted restaurant - recent concept change. Everything we had from drinks to apps to mains to dessert - outstanding on every level. Including the service. Liked our meal better than our room which was deluxe suite. Eat here and do yourself favor

Hotel doesn’t turn heat on in guest rooms
We learned the hotel doesn’t turn heat on until sometime in October after we got to room. The temperature was 49 degrees and rainy. I called down to front desk and they said you are in New Mexico that’s how its done. It paid over $400 for the night. They sent up a potable heater that didn’t work. Then they sent up another one and that didn’t work either with a person from the hotel that didn’t speak one word of English . I asked for a supervisor or general manger to call me they never did. I went to front desk in morning and they were not present. The third floor area near the elevator smells like wet carpet. Do not stay at this hotel

El Dorado Hotel and Spa
Paul and Mo at the bell desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were super polite and professional. They both gave great recommendations on things to see in Santa Fe. The Cava bar was stylish and inviting. The bartenders, Adam and Gaby, could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They both gave us great advice on what to see in Santa Fe. They also were great at preparing our drinks.

Good hotel for Plaza area
Stayed at the Eldorado for the weekend to attend a wedding. The hotel is convenient for the Plaza area. We had drinks at the Cava bar, and bartender Adam was friendly and made our stop at Golden Hour ( the hotel's version of happy hour ) enjoyable.
