Sticky and hot

Absolutely awful. Agreed to host a huge event at the last minute, when my family and I were in town to relax. Too hot in the room. Felt like everything was sticky.

Terrible lodging experience-stay away

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is our second year staying here for a business conference and both times have been a disaster. We will not be back. We have stayed in several lovely places in Santa Fe over the years. This hotel is not that. We booked a junior suite 3 months prior to our arrival (larger suites were sold out when we booked in March). The junior suite was not a suite at all. It has a bed, a built in desk, and a single sad chair. It looks nothing like the junior suite photos on the website. When we requested assistance from the desk we were told that the website photos were just examples of what a junior suite could be. When we said, we’d like the example we booked, she said everything was sold out. The hotel doesn’t offer much in the way of other pleasant comfortable places to enjoy when escaping the hideous room. We won’t be back - you shouldn’t come in the first place.

Nice hotel, pool is horrible

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Hotel is nice. Rented a cabana at the pool. After paying several 100 dollars for this , we had to ask for absolutely everything. Food, drinks, everything. Nobody ever contacted us to even bring the amenities that were part of the cabana rental. And on top of everything, a man walked in and asked the attendant if he could sit in the open cabana right next to us and was told that he could. He then got better service than we got as paying customers. I would NOT pay for a cabana here. The service is horrible and they will just let you have one anyways.

Quick weekend away

I loved this hotel. And i am a hotel snob! Great spa experience, loved the pool and every single member of the staff was so polite.

Great location and exterior with great pool but some inconsistent service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Beautiful exterior and pool. However pool closed at 8pm? Pool staff were exceptionally helpful as was the courtesy of the front desk. This was perfect location for our conference. However for a hotel of this caliber service as per attention to maintenance is lacking . Our refrigerator’s thermostat handle was missing and bottom shelf missing. Our food was frozen , especially fruit , and left overs. It took 4 days to finally replace the refrigerator. Maid service late and one day the forgot to change towels. Beds comfortable, water pressure on shower great. Inconsistent service. The food in the pool bar was delicious and well plated we ate there 4 times for lunch. However , on the last day the serving size was cut in half or more on the fruit bowl and nacho salad. It must be chef dependent. I would stay again.
