Reviews for Eldorado Hotel & Spa
I cannot say enough about the friendliness/helpfulness of the staff! I was totally confused and disorganized upon my arrival and the (adorable) girls at the front desk were understanding and helped my figure everything out! The valets were charming and so organized in assisting the luggage to my room. My room was lovely (the fireplace is a beautiful touch and great water pressure in the showers) and the bar downstairs is breathtaking. After staying for many years at a historic Santa Fe hotel, the Eldorados' modern feel and classic hospitality has totally won me over! Don't miss the pool on the roof!

The location of the hotel is amazing. You can walk to everything! The lobby and common areas are very nice and upscale. Also, the service was excellent. Very friendly at all hours day and night. Unfortunately, these things are not enough to make us want to stay again. The room was run down- despite obvious renovations- and uncomfortable. The air conditioning did not work. At all. We had to change rooms for our last night because the neighbor room started smoking. The hotel staff dealt with them right away but our room smelled and we were concerned it would happen again so we moved. The new room was bigger and better laid out, but the air conditioning still did not work. Also, the common hot tub smelled mildewy and we did not use it because of that. The hotel is very lovely but I think it just has old infrastructure and the cosmetic updates they’ve done don’t cover the issues with the room comfort. For these reasons, we would not return.

Great location, can walk everywhere. A little big for my usual taste, but my friends picked this, and it turned out fantastic. Walk down the street for a coffee and shopping; and my room, a view of the mountains had a sunset and having a real wood fireplace made it every so cozy!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights and had gotten an excellent rate through Priceline. It is a huge hotel and you may walk a bit from the elevator depending on the room they assign you- but the bed was comfy and the coffee provided with the coffee maker was Nespresso and very good. The bar off the lobby has many sitting areas that are beautiful and one is next to a large contemporary fireplace which we enjoyed with friends. There was a $25 daily resort fee that included parking and breakfast. The dining room was lovely, the wait staff warm and welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The have a spa though we did not use it. They were in the process of updating the rooms. I highly recommend this hotel!

My friends and I spent the weekend at this hotel and were very pleased. Very nice hotel that is conveniently located near a number of restaurants and shops. Inside of the hotel, we particularly enjoyed the great service at both the bar and restaurant. Lisette waited on us at both locations and was especially helpful.
