Reviews for Eldorado Hotel & Spa
The location was very convenient to the plaza. The lobby is stunning. My room was a bit dated and dark. But, it was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We tried to go to happy hour at the bar downstairs, but it was so loud I couldn't take the noise. We tried later at night and it was terrific the bar staff was very nice.

My mom and I take an annual girls' trip to Santa Fe and each time we come back, Nicki the bellman remembers us! This hotel is very close to the Plaza, also has reasonably priced parking. Comfortable beds, nice showers, and the front desk is accommodating about moving you if you don't like the room. We will definitely keep coming back.

Beautiful property in need of some care. Large room. Remodeled bath. Fridge broke. Curtain pull broken. Door lock broken. Great old town and mountain view. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to old town and restaurants.

I was looking forward to staying at this "newly remodeled" hotel. Public spaces are nice and newly renovated. A little strange to have the main gathering place, Cava, located within the main lobby closed the entire time I was here. The hotel felt like it had no life. The guest rooms, at least mine, was really dark and depressing. Several within our group commented that it was the darkest hotel room they've ever stayed in. Fine during the day when you could open your drapes and have sunshine but otherwise depressing and very tired. No dresser, no safe. Made it difficult to store things. Carpets in hallways were terribly stained, wood work chipped and warn. Did not feel at all like a 4 star hotel. Location was good and service was also good until last day when I asked to change a $20 bill at the front desk and was told they had run out of change. Very odd, I think it was a change of shift and she had already counted her bank so didn't want to have to redo.

We stayed at Eldorado in Santa Fe for two nights in July of 2017. We paid $631.91 for two nights. My husband, who has a buzz cut, warned me that I would have trouble rinsing my longer hair in the shower. The water pressure was extremely low. Also, the frame of the casement woman was broken. We told the front desk. The repair people closed the window as best they could but it was not repaired and we could hear outside noises, including trash pick-up early in the morning. This seems for a lot to pay when the two of the basics are not being provided.
