Probably the most romantic hotel we've ever experienced! The staff was nothing short of amazing. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Four Seasons in every way. Even if you aren't staying there, you should visit this magical property.. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful don't even begin to describe this place. Highest marks I've ever given a hotel!

Great stay as a couple, excellent accommodations, quiet, and of course very clean and luxurious. My wife enjoyed the excellent spa during the day as I went skiing in Taos. That evening we enjoyed an excellent meal in their dining room.

Conveniently located about 15 minutes from the city, the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado property at Santa Fe is a fabulous facility. It is structured as a cluster of very charming “casitas” situated in a very picturesque setting. Ms. Meredith Macfarlane, the GM, has created a truly exceptional spirit of “esprit du Coeur” among the staff – they could not have been more friendly, helpful, nor capable. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Santana. Special kudos should go to Izzy, the Director of Activities who organized our day excursions as well as taking us on a wonderful approximately 2 mile hike around the perimeter of the property – the views are fantastic. The breakfast is delicious and the servers – Gustavo (the Ambassador of Breakfast) and Amber are great. The dining occurs either in the Bar, the adjacent Terra Restaurant, or in room – all menus are available at all locations – we particularly liked the corn crusted trout, and the steak salad – and there are wonderful fresh breads baked in house daily (walnut, cheddar, cherry etc.). Be certain to be there at dusk, the sunsets are incredible! Your evening dining experience is truly enhanced by the servers – Larry, Cody, and Lindsey. We needed some help with our room, and Laurence, the Asst. Director of Rooms, could not have been more accommodating. There are many activities available at the resort including a pool, hot tub, well equipped Gym with separate body movement room and Spa but the local destinations are what this resort is really about. Santa Fe is amazing – both for the numerous quality art galleries, as well as restaurants. This region of Northern New Mexico provides a wonderful opportunity to visit scenic mountainous topography that is not to be believed. We’d suggest Tent Rocks – a moderate hike through unbelievable rock formations. The region is also very rich in Native American History – do visit the Pueblo sites at Bandelier and Puye. Also situated a convenient drive from the Resort is Los Alamos – home to the Manhattan Project, with research still ongoing. In summary, the Resort features a wonderful group of people working to make certain you have a fabulous vacation experience located in a very unique region – enjoy!!

We booked the Four Seasons last minute to stay while coming into town to make arrangements for a funeral. Airplane issues caused our flight to arrive very late. Not wanting any issues upon check in, we called. The front desk not only assured us that getting there very late would not be an issue but had a couple sandwiches waiting for us in the room- one of them was even gluten free, as my wife is a celiac. It’s very nice to be able to come back to the resort after a long day, have a wonderful dinner and arrange to have a real fire lit in your fireplace. That bring us the one and only drawback to this resort. We were in a first floor unit. If the second floor unit lights their fire, and you do not have your fireplace lit, you can get a powerful burnt wood smell in the lower unit. We hope to return in late Fall.

Me and four of my girlfriends from undergrad got together to celebrate our 30th birthdays, something not easy to do in this stage of our lives, with jobs, families, and other competing priorities. From the day we booked the hotel to the morning we checked out, everyone was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make the weekend a memorable one for all of us. From complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and champagne, to coordinating all of our spa services so we could maximize our time together, to making sure we had cozy fires and delicious room service, the experience was far beyond PERFECT! Not only did the hotel have breathtaking views, exquisite facilities, and perfect proximity to the city, but the staff made all the difference. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs an escape, wants to explore the cultural offerings of Santa Fe, or simply wants to enjoy a weekend away. PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!!!
