Exquisite property and the staff here even elevates the Four Season's high standards in hospitality! We booked a basic casita and it was very roomy and beautifully designed and decorated. The grounds were planned with native plants and grasses. Nice touch! Great spa and fitness center. Bar and restaurant are top notch. Views are incredible. A shuttle runs to Santa Fe Plaza so you can enjoy some time and shopping there with the crowds and return to this oasis and get lost tranquility and luxury. Pets are welcome with a fee. Dog beds, food/water bowls, and pooper bags are provided. I can't get enough of this heavenly place! It's perfect.

Absolutely loved this hotel! When booking our vacation to Santa Fe, we went back and fourth trying to decide if we should stay at a hotel in the center of town or stay at the Four Seasons right outside of town. We finally settled with the Four Seasons, and we were so happy we did! A short drive outside of town (10 minutes), The Four Seasons was paradise in the mountains. The rooms, grounds, and facilities were beautiful. The rooms were beautifully decorated with southwestern charm. Two fireplaces - indoors and outdoors, huge closets, and heated bathroom floors. Great bar on the premises and the restaurant and food were wonderful too. The spa was heaven on earth. The massage and spa facilities were so great - I didn't want to leave! My one piece of advice will be- spend a few extra dollars on the room. We originally booked the patio casita room. When I called the hotel to find out the difference between the patio casita and the deluxe casita (as there was a slight price difference) they told me that the only difference was that the patio casita is the ground floor of a two story. I figured it wasn't a big deal! I have lived in New York City for the past 15 years with people living above me and have never been bothered. Needless to say- our first night, we were awoken in the middle of the night by loud footsteps above us (and I am a very deep sleeper). Once they went to bed, I was able to finally fall back asleep- until the next morning at 7am when they awoke us again. Not sure if the people above us just had lead feet or that is the usual case, but it was a huge disturbance. As soon as I informed the front desk, they were extremely understanding and moved (and upgraded!) us to a single story room. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Santa Fe!

I had the most relaxing experience in the spa. It is beautiful, luxurious and my face was radiant after the facial. Our room was peaceful and serene. I hiked the trails outside our room every day and that added to the serenity of my experience. The dining was exceptional, every bit as creative and delicious as the well know restaurants in Santa Fe.

We actually did not stay at this hotel as intended, but still want to provide a review and give it a well-deserved 5 star rating for the customer service we have received. We booked a 4 night stay at this hotel for part of spring break. Reservation was made via booking.com. All was fine until we received notice from airline that our first flight from Baltimore to Atlanta would be delayed which would cause us to miss our connecting flight from Atlanta to Albuquerque. The airline was not able to book us on another flight to NM on the same day so we had to accept a 2nd day arrival. We called the hotel and spoke with reservation agent and explained our situation and asked to change reservation from 4 nights to 3 and requested a full refund for the first day since the situation was out of our control. The agent was very understanding but did tell us that since we booked via a third party we should speak to them and the third party agent would have to contact the hotel to make changes on our behalf, the hotel’s system does not allow any changes to be made by the hotel agent if we did not book directly with them. This is similar policy to many other hotels so we were find and called booking.com instead and spoke with the agent there. The agent then talked to the hotel directly and was able to change the detail of the reservation and was waiting for the hotel reservation manager to authorize the free night for the night we are not staying. Later on that day, our flight to Atlanta got completely cancelled by the airline, so we contacted Delta to try to rebook. They were not able to rebook us on any flight (we even gave them multiple options to fly out of different airport within 5 hours drive from our original departure airport or arrival at different locations in NM) but nothing was available until the later part of the week. That just would not be feasible as we planned to take 1 week and there was simply no point of even going if we would end up going for only 2 days. So we had to get the airline to just cancel the entire trip. As soon as this happened, I called booking.com and spoke to their representative to let them know now instead of just 1 night delay for our reservation we now need to cancel the entire reservation for Four Seasons as we would not even be in NM at all due to the flight situation. The booking.com rep told me he would talk to the hotel directly and even put me on the phone while he called and then came back and told me everything would be taken care of. They were not able to get in touch with hotel reservation manager so they could not guarantee we would get 100% refund as the hotel manager has the authorization only but that they would continue to call to try to catch the manager and then will call us to give us update. So we went on to visiting families in nearby areas to spend our spring break. After the break was over we realized booking.com never contacted us, they had our phone number as well as email. So we gave them a call yesterday and booking.com agent had the nerve to tell me that hotel never received my cancellation so since we were considered a “no show” they had to now charge us one night of room. I was livid at this point because we did call booking.com and they were supposed to contact the hotel. So I had to explain the situation again to this agent. Again he said he would call Four Seasons as it is up to them to provide the refund and he would call me back. Of course we never heard from him. So I decided to just call Four Seasons directly to explain what happened as at this point I just could not trust booking.com anymore. I called Four Seasons and spoke with agent Taylor who was very sympathetic and documented all the details I provided to her including the Delta Flight number that cancelled. She sent a note to the reservation manager (the manager left work as by then it was after hours) but would handle it first thing next morning when she returns. Sure enough, this morning the full refund showed up on our credit card from Four Seasons. It was so much easier dealing with the hotel directly (even though technically I was not supposed to as I booked via third party agent), and they were very understanding of our situation being out of our control. We would have enjoyed staying at this location if our trip went on as originally planned, but I am sure we will stay at this Four Seasons location when we plan another trip to Santa Fe. We’ve stayed at other Four Seasons locations and have always enjoyed their service and amenities. The Four Seasons hotel chain is definitely 5 star through and through, and we are customer for life.

A beautiful, restful resort with gorgeous sunset views from the bar and several of the casitas. Pros: Mercedes shuttle service to town (15 minutes), access to short hikes in the Sangre de Cristo foothills from the property, nicely appointed casitas with fireplace and patio, good (albeit expensive) dinners and bar menu. Con: just short of Four Seasons service; in-room glasses and cups when used were not replaced, ice failed to show one night. I waited to check in for some time behind another guest, was told I had a "favorite" casita, when in fact it was right on the parking lot. To be fair, when I requested another spot I was given a choice and moved to a lovely room
