When it comes to the art of escape, there are few places better than Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe. Set in the mystical foothills of New Mexico's Sangre de Cristo, 65 casita guest rooms and suites welcome you to a place as enchanting as its surroundings. The hotel occupies its own 57 acres of land, creating a true oasis that is still within easy reach of Santa Fe's downtown attractions, shopping and restaurants. A stylish and modern aesthetic defines the accommodations - none of which is less than 630 square feet in size - and each room features its own indoor fireplace and private terrace. His & her closets and original artwork add the kind of thoughtful touches you would expect from a hotel of this caliber, and yet the incredibly inviting atmosphere will make you feel as relaxed as if you were in your own home. Attentive service at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is readily available, including 24-hour in-room dining, laundry and dry cleaning, overnight shoeshine, and 24-hour concierge. From the moment you arrive, every moment here is something spectacular.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Four Seasons Santa Fe, spending several nights in a beautiful suite with both an indoor and outdoor fireplace—perfect for a cozy, restful experience. Room service was consistently very good, both the food and the cocktails, and the overall quality was high throughout our stay. One highlight was the fire concierge, which added a thoughtful and memorable touch to the evenings and really reinforced the sense of relaxation. While service at the bar was occasionally a bit slow, the staff was gracious and the drinks were excellent, so it didn’t detract significantly from the experience. One practical note: I strongly recommend reserving spa treatments well in advance. The spa was fully booked for most of our stay, and we weren’t able to get appointments without prior planning. Overall, a serene and luxurious retreat that we would happily return to.

This hotel has serious security and service issues. The property itself was lovely looking. We stayed in a beautiful casita. But when we brought the issues to the attention of management, we were literally ignored. Promised call backs from management simply never came. I escalated with an email to corporate that was never answered. Unacceptable for any hotel to disregard safety and security issues that included male staff sneaking into women's bathrooms when women were alone in there. But I honestly expected more from The Four Seasons. Following the scary incident being ignored, we left and checked into the El Dorado downtown. It was a much better experience. Be careful at this, and perhaps any Four Seasons property. They do not care about the safety and security of their guests.

Went to Terra for my first time at Four Seasons in Santa Fe and it was great! Our waiter Kevin was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious, and the resort is gorgeous!

A nearby favorite local hangout for entertaining guests or stopping by for a quick bite, especially the M-F happy hour from 3pm to 5pm. Recently shared happy hour drinks and assorted snacks and it didn't disappoint. The drinks and bites were prepared perfectly. When not busy, the service is exceptional as it was during this recent visit. Great to have this option nearby.

Booked here at the last minute as trip to national parks on hold due to government shutdown. We have stayed at Four Seasons resorts throughout the world.. most recently at Gresham Palace in Budapest, Four Seasons Jackson Hole and the Four Seasons in Rabat. All of these were excellent. Rancho Encantado doesn’t come close. It isn’t in the same league and frankly does not live up to the Four Seasons standards . Service is poorly lacking. Unprofessional throughout. We booked as a family 2 casitas. Upon arrival asked that they be close to one another. Was told that the property was “completely committed “ and the rooms were close together. Actually- the rooms were not close together and when booking it appeared that every room category was available. We asked if there was any possibility of an upgrade.. no no no was the response. There was absolutely no recognition whatsoever that we had stayed at numerous Four Seasons properties on many many occasions over the years. As we were staying two nights we asked the front desk clerk if we could be moved the following night. He said he needed to check with the manager- who was nowhere to be found. We asked specifically to speak to the manager. He never got back to us, however the front desk clerk called us hours later- they begrudgingly agreed to move us closer together. Separately- at check in- around 4pm- asked for the concierge who was nowhere to be found and had left for the day. Huh??!!! No one at the front desk had any idea which parks were open or not. What is this? Amateur hour? Have never been so disappointed by a Four Seasons property.
