The resort is surrounded by the breathtaking New Mexico countryside. It is a serene and inspiring location. Lovely to stay out of the Santa Fe busyness yet close enough to hop into town for a meal, shopping or museum and gallery time. Loved the location. Autumn is a beautiful time in New Mexico with gorgeous mountain vistas, colorful displays of color and the incredible blue skies!!!!! The chile has been harvested and riastras add to the local scene! Must add that Santa Fe is wonderful, beautiful and fascinating at any time of the year.

I was appalled at the service or lack thereof at this hotel. It was not up to motel standard never mind a Four Seasons. The bellman was surly, the concierge was rarely there when one called, the front desk were clueless. They had no recommendations for restaurants. They told one of our group when she called at midnight stuck at the airport due to a delayed flight that they could not pick her up. The only pleasant staff were the wait staff in the restaurant and in the private dinner that we held. Even the housekeepers were less than charming. No one has taught this group to smile or even what customer service is all about. The hotel was understaffed too. So disappointing

We very much liked the property and wish we could give it another try, but we had a string of services problems that it was hard for us to attribute to one-off causes. From failures to prepare the pull-out bed (we had three people in our party) to very long service delays (45 minutes to get a drink at the pool while the bartenders were standing around doing not much) to a staff member knocking on our door at 8:45 am on our departure date asking us when we were going to vacate the room, the overall effect was not one of a true 5-star experience. We had stayed at the property when it was an Auberge property and wanted to try it again, but we are not likely to after this.Ā

Everything about our stay here was exactly that, enchanting. The staff, food, facilities all top notch. And the adventure program is fantastic!! Izzy and his guides will take you on the best excursions the area has to offer. Every level of ability will enjoy one or more of the offerings.

We were there for a business conference and it could not have been nicer. The location was away from Santa Fe, but the shuttle service and our driver Don, make the distance a non issue. The room was comfortable, well furnished and very clean. The fire place on the patio was a welcome amenity. If there had been a kitchen in our room we might have stayed forever. Recommend a ground floor casita.
