Great hotel, excellent location with friendly staff
I stayed here for a week and loved the location, it is in such a nice spot for the beach views and convenient for restaurants and shops as well as being so close to the beach and pier. The hotel is lovely, the suite I had was very spacious and comfortable. It is fairly priced I'd say and the food in the hotel restaurants is a really high standard. Bar staff are super friendly and the general atmosphere inside and out is relaxed. If you can get a room on a high floor I'd recommend that for the ocean views. Only one thing was that when we came to check out someone had added expensive parking charges on to our room when we didn't have a car, check your invoice carefully as we almost didn't notice. When they investigated it, it seems somehow our name was even on the parking booking even though we got a taxi from the airport and didn't hire a car.

My family and I love staying at the Fairmont. The staff here is the best, especially Matthew and Johan. 10/10 experience every time!

Be prepared to head to bed by 10pm
This has long been our hotel of choice when visiting Santa Monica but we we’re disappointed this time. We arrived at 9.45pm after a long day travelling. Check in was swift & we went straight to the room, dumped our bags, quick wash & got back down to the bar area by 10.05 only to be told the bar closed at 10pm & there was no food service. Luckily the waitress took pity on us & managed to bring us a drink & some nibbles. Just amazed that a major hotel in LA should have nowhere to eat or drink after 10pm. The bar was still packed by the way . Breakfast was up to the same excellent standard. We had an ocean view room with balcony which felt tired & quite dated. Pokey bathroom that only 1 person at a time can use. Hotel definitely needs an overhaul.

Great visit to Fig restaurant! Valet team Matthew, Alan, and Antonio were welcoming, helpful, and made everything easy.
They were friendly and attentive, making the arrival and departure process smooth and easy. Their positive attitude really added to the overall experience and made the visit even more enjoyable.

Perfect home base to explore and relax
Matthew and Boris were awesome. They took good care of my Cybertruck while we were gone. Service was friendly right when we arrived. Definitely need to come back asap.

We were looking for a wonderful location in Santa Monica ...when we arrived at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows we found a marvelous hotel, with a great concierge to help us and a superb view of the ocean! It was a dream come true.
