Amazing experience. Expansive ocean views, exceptional service. The property is kept up impeccably, inside and out. Have an afternoon glass of wine at the bar - complimentary salty snacks. You get what you pay for here- luxury at a premium.

I am not sure if the hotel was experiencing a short-staffed or "off" day, but our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. We arrived almost an hour before check-in and our room was not yet ready, so we checked our luggage in at the desk and returned an hour later. They were able to find an available room for us and said our luggage would be delivered shortly. After waiting almost an hour, I left the room to go retrieve luggage myself, only to be met by a staff member with 2 of our 4 pieces. He was surprised to learn that I had checked 4 pieces of luggage and went to look. Another half an hour later my husband went down and was met by frustrated and rude staff, as well as irritated patrons who were apparently waiting over half an hour just to check in. Our other 2 pieces of luggage were located, but a water bottle attached to a backpack was never found. Ammenities-wise, we were disappointed to find that the sauna did not get hot enough to even break a sweat, and when exiting to take a hot shower (in hopes of warming up from the sauna) the water temperature never warmed beyond "tepid". The majority of the staff here were very friendly and accomodating, the valet team was wonderful, and the rooms were clean and nice, but it was overall a very below-par experience.

I had an amazing experience at Fairmont Miramar, thanks to two incredible employees. Sal greeted my friend and I with such a warm and positive attitude and made the whole check in process easy and smooth. Sal was patient, informative and genuinely kind. Antonio was just as impressive. He was organized, attentive and made sure every detail was handled as we valet my vehicle and needed assistance with our luggages. It is quite rare to come across staff who care this much, and both of them made our visit so pleasant. Great customer service all around! Thank again Sal and Antonio your service is much appreciated, we can’t wait to visit again.

I wanna give a special thanks to Eddie, Amy and Matt for all their help. Amy and Eddie were so wonderful to speak to and Matt was very fast and efficient with retrieving my vehicle. One of the best valet teams i’ve had the pleasure of meeting thank you all !!
