Huntley Santa Monica Beach

The service at The Huntley was exceptional. The staff was attentive, professional, and made the entire stay feel seamless. The convenience and location alone make this hotel a 10/10. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the views were beautiful. While the building is older and the views are more of an 8/10 compared to some newer high-rises, they are still stunning and absolutely enjoyable. The Penthouse restaurant was very lively and loud on Valentine’s Day, which is expected for a holiday weekend. However, I stayed five days and genuinely enjoyed every single meal — including room service. The food and consistency were impressive. Overall, it’s a great location in a beautiful town. Santa Monica is special, and The Huntley is a GREAT place to experience it.

We Frequently stay at The Huntley for monthly "staycations". It is our go to hotel. Location is a 10 and we can walk to all bars and restaurants, the pier, boardwalk, third street promenade, etc. Front desk staff greets us by name, always have a smile on their face and are professional, informative, and helpful with any of our requests. The Penthouse restaurant at the top of the hotel has the best view in Santa Monica. Rooms are spacious and have great views. We stay at this hotel 8 to 10 times a year and love it.

I threw my mom a birthday party at the Penhouse. Mandy did an exceptional job helping me plan and execute the party from afar. She made the whole process so easy. And mom and her friends had the absolute best time. They are all asking to do their milestone birthdays at the Penthouse. 5 stars!

My experience here was amazing - great location, clean room, nice views, great food, and most importantly, great service because of Randy. I am so glad I met him because he truly went above and beyond during my stay. I was there for a 10-day work trip, and from day one he made sure everything was taken care of. He checked in regularly, anticipated things I needed before I even asked, and handled every request with professionalism and genuine kindness. After long workdays, coming back and being greeted by his warmth made a big difference. He made the stay feel welcoming and comfortable, and that meant more to me than I can say. Thank you SO much Randy!!

The Huntley can't be beat. The location is in a lovely residential neighborhood only a block from the beach. The staff's professionalism and hospitality is second to none (ask for Greta and Randy)!! The views from the premier rooms and the restaurant upstairs are spectacular. One early morning, I actually watched the moon setting over Malibu! This aligned with nightly sunsets from both the beach and hotel. If you're looking for a welcoming, beautiful environment, come to the Huntley!
