Kissed by the fresh air that sweeps off the Pacific coast, with a vibrant atmosphere where modern beachside glamour meets casual urban chic, Huntley Santa Monica Beach invites you to experience the best of Santa Monica. Overlooking a world-renowned stretch of golden beach, this fabulous boutique hotel welcomes you with classic elegance, contemporary sophistication, and the relaxed and playful ambiance that only Southern California can provide. Spacious rooms are dramatic and inviting, with sleek lines, deep chocolate and pale cream palates, and dark wood accents adding a decidedly designer touch. Natural sunlight filters through large picture windows, while the panoramic views of ocean, cityscape and mountains will take your breathe away. Huntley Santa Monica Beach is truly as amazing indoors as it is under the sunny California skies.

Visited property for a local "staycation" on our anniversary. The good is 1) the personnel and service (except for one case) were exceptional, 2) the cuisine, drinks, and atmosphere at Penthouse restaurant were also exceptional, and 3) the property is beautiful. The "not so good" are all of the rooms face north or south and so none face the beach toward the West. Their site indicates "Ocean View" room, but they are "partial" view at best (if you check Google maps you can see the wide side of the hotel where the rooms face is perpendicular to the ocean). The only complaint with The Penthouse was our "2 lb Lobster" listed on the menu was 1-1/4 lbs at best (I'm from the Northeast and know lobster sizes and I assure you this is the case). However, the Lobster Benedict we had for lunch the previous day was the best Benedict we've ever had! If I could give the property a 4-1/2 star I would. Knowing what we know now we will still return, but with somewhat less expectations.

We have just returned from a few days at the Huntley. Generally the hotel is good, well appointed rooms, great location and some super staff. Downsides are inconsistent service, noisy room (we were on 17th floor) under restaurant. Expensive restaurant with not much vegetarian options. Food doesn’t match prices charged. Overall though this is a good hotel. I would recommend it to people.

The Huntley was an amazing hotel. It was very quiet, clean, and a lovely place to stay. The rooms were enormous and very comfortable

It was a truly heartwarming experience staying at the Huntley Santa Monica. The front desk team was very professional and detail‑oriented. When I checked into my room, the view was incredible and the room itself was beautiful—perfect for both business and leisure. I could tell the housekeeping team takes excellent care of the rooms. The Penthouse restaurant offered creative and delicious food. The renovated rooms feel stylish and thoughtfully designed, with just the right amount of detail. Last but not least, the security manager was incredible. I misplaced something, and he personally assisted me while checking lost and found. I’m very grateful for his help. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay.

This is my second time staying at the Huntley. And the second time with no notes. I stay here when I travel solo to see my daughter and love that it is a little smaller and cozy with a little more feminine flair than most hotels. The food and staff…awesome and check in/out is seamless. This is now my go-to hotel. Waymo is my other favorite thing. My daughter attends USC and I can take a Waymo to her apartment just off campus. The view from the restaurant is amazing. I attached a photo
