Kissed by the fresh air that sweeps off the Pacific coast, with a vibrant atmosphere where modern beachside glamour meets casual urban chic, Huntley Santa Monica Beach invites you to experience the best of Santa Monica. Overlooking a world-renowned stretch of golden beach, this fabulous boutique hotel welcomes you with classic elegance, contemporary sophistication, and the relaxed and playful ambiance that only Southern California can provide. Spacious rooms are dramatic and inviting, with sleek lines, deep chocolate and pale cream palates, and dark wood accents adding a decidedly designer touch. Natural sunlight filters through large picture windows, while the panoramic views of ocean, cityscape and mountains will take your breathe away. Huntley Santa Monica Beach is truly as amazing indoors as it is under the sunny California skies.

Positives are the grand old hotel vibe, views from the room out across the Pacific and a mostly helpful and friendly staff. Negative: on departure, after paying an upgrade to a different room, they add a "resort fee" which the staff comically tried to convince covered things like towels and wifi. What's next, toilet paper? I told them no way-remove it. Not sure why hotels continue to bury these fees on page 8 which leaves guests with a sour taste as the last memory of the hotel. Dumb move. Be up front about your room fees.

A little pricey for what you get. $68 for valet is unacceptable no matter how much money you make. Air conditioning does not get cold. Beds are very firm.

Amazing staff lovely room and the restaurant at the top was excellent with the best views . The location was perfect as 5 mins from. Beach and shops and loads to do

Beware of the fees. Valet of $60 and a "resort" fee of $40. That offers you access to paid items like bike rental or the cafe. The gym is tiny and not good at all.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff was all cordial and helpful. We enjoyed two breakfasts in the Penthouse Restaurant and they were reasonably priced. Also had dinner there one evening. As others have noted the location was excellent.
